Donald Trump Jr: Ted Cruz Has To Bribe Delegates To Win
CNN ^ | APRIL 24

Posted on 04/24/2016 8:38:39 AM PDT by Helicondelta

Donald Trump Jr. said that the only way Texas Sen. Ted Cruz can convince delegates to support him over his father is with bribery.

"Ted Cruz has no chance of winning this without bribing the delegates. That's his game at this point," the son of the real estate mogul told CNN's Jake Tapper in a CNN "State of the Union" interview that aired Sunday.

Trump Jr. said if his father wanted to bribe delegates he could -- and do it very well.

"He could send his private plane and send them down to Doral, they could play golf for a week and then we win that delegate. That's not the way this country should be run," Trump Jr. said.

Okay, why don't you link the video and I'll look. Because I don't believe you that it shows what you said, for three reasons:

1) if there really was a video showing Cruz clearly bribing a delegate, it would be plastered everywhere, and Trump wouldn't be able to shut up about it, and;

2) Any politician who was going to bribe a delegate would have to be an utter Moro to do it himself, in the open, with cash. Whatever his flaws, Cruz isn't a moron, and;

3) $100? That's all it takes? That alone makes it seem incredibly implausible that this was a bribe for a vote at the convention.

But hey, post the link and I'll look at it.

Kinda sounds like his tortured explanation for Iowa and the Corker Bill.

Donald can surely out bid Cruz if it’s really necessary.

Doubt it, bruh.

And you are as much a cultist as anyone you accuse of the same.

Surely you jest! Check out the Clinton Foundation and the speaking fees paid to Bill while Hill was a US Senator. You’re either naive or grasping at straws to make a useless point.

I hate the feeling that we are so easily manipulated.

Hopefully Trump will put the lie to all that.

I’ve seen 5 or 6 explanations so far. Hope Hannity asks him about it.

OK. So we should leave Hill and Bill alone for running the Clinton Foundation as an Access for Hire derivative?

There is NOT one thing on your video that shows a Bruce Redden face... Only the Cruz campaign claims, after the fact. Furthermore, there is NOTHING showing WHO gave Cruz the so called $5.00... I sure cannot tell it is a $5.00 bill.

I gave you the campaign explanation. It's up to you to prove it wrong.

I suspect that there is a first part of the video, that is cutoff, that shows where the money came from.

Cruzers at this point IMO are in a red zone where reality just does not exist. They will float back to earth when Cruz is forced out.

As of a few years ago the Kochs had given 200,000 to Democrats—including Chuckie Schumer. The total is likely higher now. Perhaps they had so much cash sitting around, they ran out of Republicans to give it to?

Not true. If Cruz comes out for Feelings I would dump him like a hot coal. Write in Walker or Sessions. Close to that anyway because Cruz just can not get three people who would like to have a beer with him.

Obviously, but then what? A run off election, that the states certainly wouldn't want to pay for? Give the nomination to the person with a plurality of the vote? What would you have your party do?

Them nothing. you asked, I answered.

Okay, don't answer this question.

Do you have kids?

Kids who don’t want to do something “boring” like attend campaign events act like that.

I remember when my brothers and I had to go with the parents to visit the great aunts/uncles. There wasn’t a toy, pet or person under 40 except for us. It was torture.

The Kochs are social liberals. Not my cup of tea. More Trumps along those lines but they part ways on the open border thing. I will give you that while noting that Trumps dissing of Romney’s self deportation plan just 8 years ago was consistent with the Kochs.
