Election results in every state prior to New York show that a majority of the Republican electorate (greater than 50%) does not want Trump as the nominee.
So if a majority is "the will of the people," then stopping Trump will uphold the will of the American people. But then what? A majority doesn't want Cruz or Kasich.
I hate to break it to you, but the “Republican electorate” is not, “the will of the people”. If the Republican electorate was the clear majority of “the people”, Trump would not be winning big.
This is not complex.
“Election results in every state prior to New York show that a majority of the Republican electorate (greater than 50%) does not want Trump as the nominee.”
An even greater percentage of the Republican electorate doesn’t want Cruz as the nominee.
And thus fails that worn out argument. Again.
If it were a TWO way race, you’d be right...But it’s not...
It seems that from the vote totals, MORE want Trump than the others...
