One theory I’ve read suggest social media is a big driver in societal decline. Our younger generations have grown up in a world they defined by friending, unfriending, blocking, liking, etc. When they get into the real world, they cannot cope with differing opinions, competition, confrontation, etc.

I think there is a ring of truth to this theory. I also fear we haven’t seen the full ramifications as yet. Those full price will be paid when the fascist SJW’s start getting elected to pubic office.

I’d say almost universal acceptance of birth control and instant 24 hour social media are good hypothetical suspects.
