The broader issue is that Mr. Trump walked back his comments on allowing perverts to use any public restroom by saying its a State issue - which is good constitutional policy.

It was video of a public talking moment that I saw, because he had a microphone in his hand and was walking.
The clip was limited to just the ‘dress as hillary’ comment, and yes, he pulled it off. It was funny.
So far as Trump is concerned, he opened his big mouth on a subject he should have spent some time talking to Paul Manafort about. His ‘keep it the way it is’ did not get expressed very well, so if he point was “do not change the system we now have in place”, then he could have been coached to say it better. As it was, he ran that comment together with the happenings in North Carolina and made it seem like he was telling N.Carolina to keep the Charlotte ordinance as it is.
So, a bit of guidance would have helped him, IF he was saying “don’t change the current system”.
This clown comes up with some really weird Shi’ite, and I truly believe he is mentally unstable. It’d be interesting to hear from a shrink.
I think it’s Cruz’s way of making his point that requiring trans-sexuals to use the bathroom conforming to the biological gender is a matter for the state to decide, and his criticism of North Carolina over it was out of line.

Cruz the man is truly repulsive and will be lucky to hold on to his Senate seat. Far, far more Texans will vote for Trump in November than have ever voted for the Cuban-Canadian-Texan Rafael “Ted” Cruz.
