It appears that Trump is on track to achieve around 60 per cent of the vote in all five primary states tonight. He will almost certainly be well over 50% in all of them. With two other "contenders" in the race, that is quite an achievement.
But these wins were UNDERSTATED.
Remember a couple months ago when many were saying that Trump only did well in OPEN primaries, when Independents and Democrats were allowed to vote?
Well all five primaries tonight were CLOSED to Republicans only! Democrats were not allowed to vote in any of them. Rhode Island did allow Independents to pull a Republican ballot but any registered Democrat was not allowed. The other four states, you had to be a registered Republican.
That includes New York from last week by the way, where Trump had 60 per cent of that vote as well.
The significance of this is that in November, we will see millions of Independents and disaffected Democrats crossing over to vote for Donald Trump.
The notion that Trump "can't win" a general election against Shrillary Clinton has been shattered with Trump's very strong victories in six Republican only primaries over the past two weeks.
The race now moves to Indiana next week which will truly be the last stand of Cruz and Kasich. If Trump wins there, he'll be over 1,000 delegates and will be in glide path to nomination on the first ballot.

Voter registration in Pa is 4:3 D to R. Tonight so far the R’s are beating that ratio pretty good which would indicate a better R turnout.

Good. This is the Trump effect. Look for it in the northeast among indy’s.
The PA. Numbers have changed drastically. While D’s outnumber R’s 4:3 tonight’s vote so far has about an equal number of votes between R’s and D’s. That would be very good news for Mr. Trump if it holds.
He won every county in each of the five states tonight. That’s YUGE.

Yes, this is “Yuge”, to be sure. An open, ultra-liberal big government statist candidate, who, of all things, came out in favor of having men enter women’s restrooms and vice versa just this past week in his latest attack on the culture and conservative principles in keeping with his tradition of attacking conservatives from the start of the campaign, is getting a significant number of votes in a GOP primary. It is extraordinary that ultra liberalism is now so appealing among GOP voters, to be sure, and a sign of the times. 20 years ago this guy would have had trouble even winning the Democrat primary he is so far to the left on so many issues across the board - and now he may win the GOP primary.
There are but two states that Cruz “Wone” outright. Utah and Wisconsin. Hell, Utah was a bought and paid for state...so only Wisconsin and that is iffy.

Only that he puts it in play, diverting Hillary’s time and money away from OH, PA, FL to shore up CT.

The R’s are now up by 100,000 votes in Pa. Pa will definitely be in play based on today’s turnout numbers. Congratulations, Trump won the most votes fair and square. Time for all of us to turn the guns on the commies.
