Wholeheartedly agree with this analysis and have since last summer. Trump will be running against the Witch not some imaginary cardboard madonna. She’s loathesome. Weenie always loses one on one.

Politics always is the choice of lesser evils, in this case the less unlikable.

My data is purely anecdotal: I’m a strong conservative. Neither I, nor my wife, will cast a vote for trump.
YMMV.

Excellent take, once you isolate Trump vs. Clinton it brings things into sharper focus.....

Every time I read his blog I come away thinking Scott Adams is the only one who really understands Trump.

If Trump’s unfavorable were so high he would not be winning the GOP nomination. Its simply untrue.

Trump could win Sanders supporters (young people) by coming out in favor of legal weed and inexpensive or free college. Add some support for universal healthcare (better than Obamacare), some job promises, and youre almost there.

I'll say it again. Just from an optics POV, Trump is attacking massive crowds like a rock star. Historic record turnouts for the GOP primary. He projects leadership and winning at his overflowing rallies. He is the man of the year, the man of this election cycle and definitely the man of the moment. He is the man to clean shop in DC and to change the direction of the country back onto the right course.
Contrast that with Hillary, with crowds that are way down for the DemocRATS. She can't put away the communist "democratic socialist" in her own primary? Her stump speeches have the odor of the same old, same old political slogans and liberal solutions that have never worked and will make things worse. If nothing else, her screeching, fingernails-across-the-chalkboard, irritating voice is enough to kill any candidate. She's having trouble attracting women of either party, I read yesterday. Her coughing fits are concerning with regards to her health. And then, of course, we have her real negatives, like the use of a private computer server for official State Department business and the release of top secret and national security related emails, with the threat of multiple FBI investigations and and possible DOJ indictment. Her and her husband's money-laundering Clinton Foundation is also being investigated too.
Once this becomes a general election contest between just Hillary and Trump, Hillary will be toast. The Donald will "Trump" all over her. Trump will win going away in the fall.
