Ted Cruz, looking for a shake-up in the 2016 race as Donald Trump moves steadily closer to the Republican nomination, on Wednesday announced former GOP primary rival Carly Fiorina as his choice for running mate should he win the party nod.

Interesting that Cruz, who is not at all attractive, picked a running mate who isn’t at all attractive either. Well, at least they’re two of a kind, in more ways than one. ;)
Maybe they are going for the sympathy vote by those who oppose lookism.

I disagree. Ted Cruz chose her, because she was a fine candidate in her own right, and strategically she makes sense.
You aren’t providing “proof” of anything. The most egregious so-called fact you are perpetrating being that Ted Cruz is some sort of open borders guy. The man almost single-handedly defeated the gang of eight bill by not only leading the effort in Senate, but in the House as well!
So, while just because something can be termed a conspiracy, and certainly be true as well. You aren’t operating with an honest, true set of facts about the man.
Cruz has 562 delegates. He needs 675 more. Trump has 954 delegates. He needs 283 more.
If one were to win every delegate left there are only 502 left. Not enough.
If Trump were to take all of Kasich’s delegates, of which there are 153 he would only have a total of 715 delegates and this is supposing those delegates WOULD swing to Cruz.
So...going on the assumption he gets ALL of Kasich’s delegates and has a total of 715 and then gets the ENTIRE rest of the delegates of the last 10 primaries, he would have a total of 1217, still under the total amount needed to win, which is 1237, or 20 short.
I don’t see how he can possibly go on. What is this guy thinking. Meanwhile Kasich has not even voiced he is dropping out and if he did the delegates do not automatically swing over to Cruz anyway.

Normally, I would comment at length, but, I happened to be in the car doing runarounds, and, got to listen to both Cruz & Fiorina orate...if you can call it sane oration. Without comment, let me assure you all, that Cruz & Fiorina are going nowhere....fast. There were a meager, handful of supporters there, and, that tells the entire story. Pathetic at best!!! Trump will win Indiana...big time, next Tuesday!!!

Listening to Levin on his pro-Cruz rant night after night I’ve now decided he’s just taking up bandwidth. Too bad, I used to like listening to him while driving home, although he has way too many commercials.
