Ted Cruz, looking for a shake-up in the 2016 race as Donald Trump moves steadily closer to the Republican nomination, on Wednesday announced former GOP primary rival Carly Fiorina as his choice for running mate should he win the party nod.

She did *way* more than that, she actually took out the company and bailed before the consequences could catch up with her.
After the last two weeks of Trump blowout wins, the Cruz campaign is already dead and a loss in IN next Tuesday will drive a stake through its heart so large that even the most rabid #NeverTrumpers will realize it's a lost cause, so Cruz needs to not just win but win big in IN to maintain any pretense of viability in his contested convention fantasy world.
So from a purely pragmatic view this is going to be seen for exactly what it is: a desperation move by a campaign on its last legs. Carly clearly has no further political ambitions as she'd otherwise avoid lashing herself to this sinking ship this way.
Can’t wait to see what The Donald will have to chortle about this...

LOL - word is that Jeb will be picking Ford Lincoln Mercury as his running mate - to enhance his status in the Great Lakes States.
See, I disagree. I think this move is dumb, but I do believe he WOULD make a good SCOTUS choice.
He would not be all rapped up in the heat of the moment...this is, in my opinion, why he is doing these desperate acts.
As an attorney he is forced to sit and think, and read, and banter...there is not a rush to judgement or quick reaction as there is in a campaign.
Trump, for all his faults, has been doing the public spotlight stuff for decades now....something NO ONE in the race, not even Hitlery, has had to Trump’s extent.
The media will soon begin to dismiss Trump like they do every Republican nominee as a “staged candidate” or “unable to think” or “lost without handlers” or some other such nonsense. They’ve done it to every Republican since Eisenhower.
But I digress.
Ted would be good on SCOTUS. But right now he is shadow boxing with himself for the executive position.
She won’t help him in CA. She failed to win election against one of the most ineptly run campaigns in state history for Barbara Boxer’s seat - and all of Northern California remembers just how much of a disaster she was for HP and Lucent.

Cruz DID not single handedly defeat the gang of 8 bill - it died in the House. He has fed you a bucket full of spit and you have swallowed it. He wanted that bill to pass - he said that ub many interviews. His so-called “poison pill,” was a lie. Wise up!
