We are witnessing Cruz commit political suicide in real time. It’s painful to watch.

Only the wait is painful.

Who he really is, and was, is finally coming out.

Imagine if he won the WH what a shock it would have been to his supporters, and what an infuriating disappointment to the rest of us.

I am personally ashamed that I ever held him in high regard. But I was fooled for 20 years by a Republican Establishment that lied to me at every turn. It’s a wonder I haven’t been married and divorced 5 times and living in a fricking trailer. I feel so stupid.

One has to question the actions of the Cruz campaign from the time of the private event attack on Trump in January until now. Cruz was doing just fine until the attack was reported and it became a war between he and Trump.

Cruz had ridden Trump’s wake successfully all fall. Cruz was setup to inherit many of Trump’s followers if he stumbled, other candidates followers as they dropped out, and would never had to fall in the GOPe orbit. He may not have won Iowa or New Hampshire but he would have done much better in the South, retained his following in the West, and would have been a logical place for many to go when Trump hit his rough spot.

Unfortunately his ego or ego of his campaign would not allow him to wait and not be out front. As a consequence of his actions then and worse his actions since Wisconsin, he not only has no shot at the nomination but his national political chances are over. He will be lucky to be reflected in Texas if faced by a credible candidate.

To what a promising candidate flame out is a sad sight.

It is totally embarrassing to watch Cruz self-destruct, but feels like the wheel of karma is finally turning. He so reminds me of a high school senior who thinks he can be POTUS but is really so uncool even the geeks and skags don’t like him. And watching the likes of Rove, etc., try to defend him is even more disgusting.

Indeed we are. It's unfortunate that he has become so desperate as to head down this road. Naming a VP in iCarly was not the answer to his electoral woes. I understand that it's hard to lose, and to someone like Trump (assuming you view him negatively).

At this point for Cruz, it is better to accept defeat with grace, and move forward to salvage what's left of his reputation. I appreciate the crash it big idea, but it's a fools errand. Cruz has much to contribute to a Trump administration and he would be wise to bury the hatchet with Trump, congratulate him on his victory and move on in a way that is positive for the country as a whole. The pettiness we are seeing now, is unbecoming, and is showing a sign of the very narcissism he complains about in others.

The idea that he's going to win the nomination in a contested convention is nutty. Even further...does he honestly think that by displaying the petulance we are seeing now is going to endear him to the voters come November were he to prevail at the convention? I doubt it.

Not painful for me to watch, so far look at all the RINO’s and faux conservatives that have been outed, and that doesn’t include the radio show talking bobbleheads like Fart rush and dumb Levin.

BEST ELECTION EVER!!!!

Ted Cruz can’t get the committed support of anyone aside from the following of people who have donated time and money and now, like cult members, can’t come to grips with the fact that they threw in with a charlatan and just move on. They’ve all put on their Nike’s and are just waiting for the comet to arrive, at this point.

He is no Reagan. He has no coalition. His campaign manager has put together a bought-and-paid-for Super PAC “ground game” that did a good job at strong-arming the caucus process, but Cruz has lost countless times where the people actually have a voice and can vote in a primary.

He is done. He has no hope of winning. He is mathematically eliminated. He’s going to end up with half or less of the first-round delegates as Trump going into the convention. The contested convention that the media has been hyping is unlikely to actually happen, but even if it did, Cruz and Kasich both have no hope of winning. All that scenario would ensure would be that Paul Ryan would descend from the mountaintop to fulfill his destiny as establishment savior.

Cruz and Kasich are GOPe stooges who are doing the bidding of the globalists. At this point, their only goal is to weaken and damage Trump going into the general in order to ensure that the remaining globalist, Hillary, gets elected. It is all very transparent and obvious, and should royally piss off all freedom and nation-loving American who is tired of the business-as-usual treatment and abuse of average citizens.

Enough is enough. Cruz and Kasich need to be treated like the afterthought globalist tools and also-rans that they always have been.

Cruz is headed for a long stay in a rest facility where he’ll spend his time in robe and slippers, leafing thru his scrapbooks, and holding cabinet meetings with his stuff animals.

I don't why it should be painful, just another lying immigrant who -this time- was rejected by the electorate...
