You beat me to it. One man and one man alone killed Reaganism. His name is George H.W. Bush. I will dance and drink beer the day he releases his mortal coil.

Clinton, Bush I and II severally wounded Reaganism.

Obama and the GOPE and the left wing Mediots finished it.

Doctor Trump discovered that Reaganism had died years ago, and he is trying to move us on to another era without the Bushes, Obama, GOPE, and the Clintoons.

Bush I killed Reaganism.

The most accurate thing i've read all day. George Herbert Walker Bush destroyed Regan's legacy.

He did many things to damage it, such as that "Kinder Gentler Conservatism" crap, but the bullet to the head was when He elected Bill Clinton by breaking his word on the tax pledge.

*THAT* was the smoking gun. *THAT* is what gave the Democrats the opportunity to stack the courts with loons. *THAT* is what destroyed the credibility of other conservative candidates who the public now thought couldn't be trusted anymore than George Herbert Walker Bush.

The establishment that runs both parties has long hated Reagan. They have only held the legacy of Reagan high to fool the Republican base into believing establishment Republican leadership was working on behalf of the middle class and the working poor. The Republican leadership betrayed the legacy of Reagan and it is rich that they are still trying to use Reaganism as a club to hit voters with because they are tired of getting lied to and ripped off.
