Another Dylan Break up song (and my favorite Dylan song) :

Note: Live version, If you are not a Dylan fan, stay away

Tangled up in blue

She was married when we first met
Soon to be divorced
I helped her out of a jam I guess
But I used a little too much force

We drove that car as far as we could
Abandoned it out west
Split up on a dark sad night
Both agreeing it was best
She turned around to look at me
As I was walkin' away
I heard her say over my shoulder
We'll meet again some day
On the avenue
Tangled up in blue

An old-time, unrequited love, murder ballad.

“Banks of the Ohio” by Bill Monroe and Doc Watson.

I didn't feel like coding links. For Kiss Me Goodbye, I usually play a different one, but yours has the same accompaniment. With out the music, how it tinkels at the beginning, the rich harmony, the song would not have worked for me.

I love her voice! She is still alive last I knew.

Oh, and thank you for taking the trouble.

Who are Les Reid and Barry Mason heartbreakers? I wasn't paying enough attention in those years. I remember Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez (wasn't crazy about her), and Barry Manilow, knew the names of the ones I chose but not much of their music. Oh there were a couple more. A black guy, tall slim, Tony Bennet, the one married to the French woman who shot the skier, probably many others from those years. Never was a fan of Elvis; I think I like his music a little better now.

Maybe Heartbreak Hotel is one, too.
