The 5 people most likely to be Donald Trump’s vice president
Washington Post ^ | 4/29 | Chris Cilliza

Which begs the question: Who is he going to pick as his vice presidential nominee?

The short answer: No one knows. Trump relishes being unpredictable so trying to game out how this most unconventional of politicians will make his mind up is a bit of a guessing game. Add to that the fact that Trump's inner circle remains, largely, devoid of establishment types and you quickly get into a situation where the people talking don't know much and the people who do know aren't talking.

KaSICKO brings nothing to the ticket, not even Ohio.

He's too old.

When in the Congress, he belonged to a S&M/ORGY club, that was run by his BBF Gary Condit.

None of his positions agree with Trump's.

He would make people NOT want to vote for Trump.

Both are FAAAAAAAAAAAAAR too old, have been out of politics for too long, and add NOTHING to the ticket.

The headline should have read:
“5 people LEAST likely to be Trump VP”

Here are 5 MOST likely:
Gingrich
Scott Brown
Jeff Sessions
Huckabee
Hunter

The Cuomo prediction is spot-on.

Trump has had his VP picked since before he rode the elevator down to announce his candidacy at Trump Tower.

I seriously doubt he’s going to pick some new-comer. He knew that the GOP .. every single warm body in the GOP ... would sabotage him.

Seriously, Amarosa is higher on my list of VP picks than anyone presented so far.
And he hates Christie. Christie is a little bitch.

Christie’s too toxic. That would be a failure.

I like the idea of Tom Cotton … Trump should consider him.

I don’t know that much about him, but I’m definitely for more business,/military folks and LESS lawyer/politicians.

I think it would be intereting/funny (in a good way) if he could get Alan Mulally (from Ford).

You aren't allowed to have a president and VEEP from the same state!

Rudy's too old.

But she is very pretty!

I think the folks suggesting Allen West may really be onto something. He doesn't bring a state like an Ohio or whatever, for example---but there are lots of vets in EVERY state, and I could see vets getting enthused about one of their own. Plus it would add even more credibility to Trump's positions on anything related to the military (taking care of wounded warriors; rebuilding the military; no more experiments in bringing democracies to heathen, ignorant cultures; make fast work of ISIS; etc.)

A lot of people do. I hope to see this question settled once and for all. The Constitution is very clear and so is the foundation for the clause. Lawyers are playing their games just like they’ve done with the First and Second Amendments as well as others. There shouldn’t be any lawyers in Washington.Jefferson warned us about too many laws.
Floridians despise Rubio. He couldn’t get elected dogcatcher anywhere but Miami.

No one can add more to the ticket then those two. They also have the perfect age... but if you pick someone just because of that one person’s age then you have been out of politics far too long.

The writer of the article, Chris Cillizza, has been wrong about almost everything for the past several years.

There is no reason to believe he has suddenly gotten smarter or better informed.

This is a stupid list.

If the election were held today, who would be your first choice for President of the United States?

Who would be your first choice for Donald Trump's running mate?

I agree. It will not be someone in politics right now.

Rubio....no chance.

Don't rule out the other Rubio: young Hispanic Florida mother, former Miami Dolphins cheerleader, conservative counterweight as Trump tacks left for the general, serious assassination/impeachment insurance, easy on the eyes. She's definitely Trump-style VP material.
