RushRINO has long been a member in the Establishment...from embracing the Bushie Crime Syndicate to “full-throated Rubio” to NO BORDERS/NAU Lyin’ Ted/G-S Heidi.

RushRINO’s fall will be self-inflicted...and good riddance!

Nice. You use the word wall and fence interchangeably. I’d sick with just wall.

I gave Rush a listen the other day for the first time in awhile. I heard a union member call in to say why the rank and file membership were going Trump in large numbers. Rush listened to him, then more or less mocked Trump supporters by saying they think Trump is the messiah, the miracle worker, or something very similar. He certainly didn’t like what the union worker was telling him.

I’ll miss Rush - had been a ditto head for a long time.

Did Rush talk about the repeal of DADT? Is Rush for a wall? Does Rush acknowledged that NAFTA and free trade are disastrous? No, no and no.

H1-B is a taboo subject because he plays golf with tech executives who are modern day slavers.

Rush is right about the left but wrong about the right.

A justifiable complaint, certainly. But to think Rush Limbaugh gives a crap about it or any other complaints about his duplicity is mistaken.

He is about money, his position, his perks, lifestyles and piquant interests that are available to those who don’t have to worry about the grocery store, gas prices, utilities, rent, mortgage, etc. He came from ‘poor’ long ago, but he also left it at the curb and never looked back.

He still thinks that even if Cruz doesn’t succeed at cheating his way into the nomination, that he’d eventually end up with Hillary (or even Trump) and he could go right back to bullshitting us like he’s done the last 25 years and making a buttload of money to boot.

I do not listen to him anymore. Not even for that 5-minute “what’s he gonna say about this” event. I simply don’t care about him or what he thinks any more. He has absolutely nothing in common with me anymore.

I could hear Rush embracing Cruz weeks ago, he is hung up on the “conservative” label. Too many labels are used to keep folks from thinking for themselves.

Adopt a label and you are supposed to automatically inherit a constituency.

Trump defies labels and pigeon holes. I think many who call themselves conservative understand that Trump is not a purist and will not be totally predictable in that sense.

On the other hand, I believe he will be very predictable and uncompromising on the old fashioned red blooded American understanding of MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN/AMERICA FIRST!

Rush likes Trump but Trump will never be conservative.

I started listening to Rush in 1994 and have been a loyal listener .... until a couple of months ago. I had to turn the radio off & it will stay off until after the election. If Trump is elected and Rush continues his current ways, then I will totally dump him for sure. As smart as Rush is, you’d think he’d “get” what is going on with many of his listeners. I definitely feel betrayed and insulted and agree with what you have said. Rush seems oblivious to it ...... I suspect brother David (a person I have admired in the past) is having a significant influence on him as he’s totally anti-Trump. Anyway, Rush can expect to see a serious drop in his listening audience, if he hasn’t seen it already (he’d never admit it). I also get the feeling that it might be time for him to have a slice or two of humble pie since wisdom seems to be lacking these days.

Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.

Rush’s listeners are thinking for themselves, and Rush is thinking for himself. No problem. It seems that when Trump said he had no problem with perverted men sharing the bathroom with females, which includes little girls whose dad must wait outside the door for them unless he identifies as a woman, that did it for Rush. Some people people try to say this is not true, but it is true at Trump Towers where it is allowed. Our nation has lost it’s soul. Trump is a pervert and many people, even some who call themselves believers, turn a blind eye and choose Trump over God.

It's Limbaugh's program, and he can do with it as he likes. The program is all about his opinion. If "Trumpists" don't like it, there are other places they can go, but at least, in Rush's case, the structure of his program doesn't give him any sort of power to punish them for nonconformity; they can listen or not listen as the case may be. If his attitude harms him financially, why, that's something he appears willing to cope with.

That said, I think he's been very adept so far at straddling the fence.

I listen about 2-5 hours a week. He seems about as even handed as anyone I’ve heard.
I’ve heard him say that the way Cruz has snagged delegates is legal and not unusual. And the next breath saying that if the GOP goes ahead and goes against the will of the electorate, if Trump has a solid lead, it will be the destruction of the party.

I voted for Trump 2 weeks ago. I prefer Cruz for his constitutional purity but am a realist and love the way Jim Robinson proves that Trump is a conservative. ( http://freerepublic.com/focus/news/3421722/posts?page=704 ) I have not heard Rush condemn a Trump candidacy in the general election . I think some folks here are reading more into Rush’s dialog than Rush is trying to convey.

Rush was on the Trump bandwagon until it appeared he wasn’t going to self destruct. Over time he has more and more distanced himself from Trump while not crossing into being negative. Trump is nothing more than an accumulation of the all the things these hosts like Rush have been harping on for years, especially since 06.

He should dance with the one that brung him to the dance instead of going outside to smoke cigars and drinking adult beverages with the good ol’ boys.

Great letter. Perhaps Rush should reread some of his history books on the First American Revolution. Many of us have warned Rush about talking conservatives who don’t drain the swamp, but join the alligators. Rush has chosen to inflict these wounds on himself. Sadly, even after Rush saw that the anger which made Trump was bigger than a single candidate, he refused to see that the institutions he held dear were committing suicide by indifference to the people. You can’t claim the mantle of conservatism and continue to support the mendacity of the elected Republicans.

Limbaugh has long defended the rich, the wealthy, big business, and the Republican elites in Media and Government. And that’s fine except that to most people these groups don’t need much defending.

But Limbaugh almost never defends the plight of the working man and woman other than claiming his “defense” of the aforementioned groups “trickles down” on the hoi polloi below.

Which has been demonstrated to be nonsense.

After 25 years of declining incomes, disappearing good-paying job opportunities, trillions in debt, stupid wars our military are not allowed to win, massive increases in health costs and now Obamacare, ridicule from a statist media and entertainment complex, eight years of the worst President in American history, and a voter-empowered but cowardly and feckless “conservative” majority Congress and SCOTUS, we the “Silent Majority” have had enough.

We rally around an “America First” candidate, the first since Reagan, and what do our “betters” in Media and Government do? Not only ridicule our choice but ridicule we, the “Silent Majority.”

Well Mr. Limbaugh, we’re not gonna take it anymore. Not from you, not from Fox News, not from the GOPe, not from anyone. Your hot air doesn’t cut it anymore. it is time to take action to save a rapidly dying Republic.

Take your golf, your private jet, your cigars, your iPhone, your Bushies, your Neo-Con interventionism, and your contempt for “Trumpists” and shove it.

There’s a new “Mayor of Realville” in town and it ain’t you.
