26 April: The kamacruzies storm from their bunkers. Screaming their war cry #NeverTrump, they are beaten back by an over 3:1 popular vote across 5 states. How could this happen? Wisconsin was supposed to turn the tide! To console themselves, they read and quote passages from the RINO rulebook to one another.
Now they straggle toward Indiana to make the first of their last ditch final stands. As they retreat, the kamacruzies tune to Tokyo Ted. He tells them of new strategies to win the GOP civil war. A new alliance has been forged with the kamakasicks against the Donald. He has also appointed the kamakarLie as his second in command. Delegate theft operations continue. They must fight on to Cleveland and destroy the Donald at all costs.
And by the way, adds Tokyo Ted, I’m now in the middle of a big-money firestorm. The witch has raised a 100 million and the Donald has a billion dollar slush fund. Will you make an urgent contribution to my campaign to defeat the Donald? Some of the kamacruzies look down at the ground. They begin to wonder if there might be a better use for twenty bucks.
Meanwhile, the goblin queen surveys the landscape. She is alarmed by the advances of the Trumpian army. Her chieftains report, fighters in his ranks that would normally be hers. Too bad that Tokyo Ted can’t get any votes. He would be such a lovely opponent. She recalls how her comrade Claire McCasKill handily defeated the cruzian clone, Tokyo Todd Akin in Missouri 4 years ago. She prays to her gods for such good fortune.
In the meantime, she is at least satisfied that the GOP civil war continues. And if Tokyo Ted’s treachery can depose the Donald in Cleveland, then her prayers will be answered.

I sincerely hope the Cruzloyalists come to their senses and support Trump against Hillary, even if their idol does not.
But but but but, RedState had a poll showing Cruzlim 16 points ahead.
Cruz was the only candidate I supported financially during the primary process and now I am embarrassed for doing so. He looks more clownish by the day.
What difference does it make? Delegate assignment has nothing to do with voting. Alice in Wonderland, if not Idiocracy, is the new norm.
There is nothing to be embarrassed about. You supported him, because initially he appeared to be a serious conservative.
But as more information about him came to light, it also makes sense to stop supporting him.
Also, initially it wasn’t clear that Trump was serious, but there also, as time went on, it became clear that he, Trump has a conservative agenda and is truly working to “make America great again” — which is more than just a slogan.

Avalanches are rather mindless creatures when they get under way, obeying blind forces of gravity.
The Donald demonstrates yet again that he is a force of nature, and once unleashed, plays out to its own end.
What is this mythology, once again, that John Kasich is the “only one” who could beat Herself in a head-to-head contest?

I hope all these poll numbers translate into real, actual votes on Tue.
It is the desperation of a campaign. He sees the internal polls, is starting to get calls from friends telling him to think twice about a convention challenge. He has a plan in place to grab delegates for a second vote and now that is being rejected by votes who don't like that sort of shenanigans.
Elections are a big test of people under pressure.
I normally follow the polls against the actual results but have been too busy this year. From the couple times I did check they seemed to have significantly understated the the result for Trump in their predictions.
It’s the end of the world. Run for your lives....
Deception is Cruz’s M.O.—you will be a lot harder to trick next time.
I get very jumpy when politicians are bible thumpers. Some are for real, but many are just liars and sociopaths.
We need high tech lie detectors to help us figure out what is really in their hearts and minds.
