I put this on an opus thread. Figured I would repost here...

I really don’t know how many on here are like me in that I like both Trump AND Cruz. I still do. I blame both of them for the current state of affairs here on FreeRepublic. Things could have been so different. Obviously, they were opponents in a political race, but the high road was not taken near as often as it could have been. Any honest observer can see that. One can argue who went negative first or most, but the point is moot. Donald Trump is our nominee, and our best hope of defeating Hiliary Rotten Criminal. I chose to see the best in our nominee, and would be thrilled if Cruz was either his Attorney General or Supreme Court Justice to replace Scalia.
