British Prime Minister David Cameron should apologise for his disparaging remarks about Donald Trump – who is now almost certain to become the Republican Presidential candidate after a crushing defeat of his main rival Ted Cruz last night – according to a key Trump campaign advisor.
Mr. Cameron has called the Republican candidate “divisive stupid and wrong” for remarks about restricting Muslim immigration to the United States, something which Trump advisor George Papadopoulos thinks warrants an apology.
Mr. Papadopoulos also blasted President Obama’s intervention in the EU referendum campaign, and stressed that Britain’s relationship with the U.S. would flourish, Brexit or not.
In December 2015, Mr. Cameron told the House of Commons that Mr. Trump would “unite us all against him” if he visited the United Kingdom – a statement that looks increasingly curious, given Mr. Trump’s proximity to the GOP nomination and indeed recent polling against Hillary Clinton, which shows the pair neck and neck in the race for the White House.
Mr Papadopoulos, who forms part of Mr. Trump’s foreign policy team told the Times last night:
“First we need an invitation… Of course if the United Kingdom extended an invitation it would be a tremendous show of unity and a wonderful spectacle. That invitation has not yet been extended… but if it is it would be received in a positive way.”

2—The UK has agreed to take in 20000 Syrian refugees from 2015 to 2020. This week we have refused to take in 3000 more. Public opinion is strongly against refugees and immigration. Public opinion is also against Islam.
3—Rule us?. Oh ffs, only a daft Yank could think that. Muslims have been here since the 50s, as have Sikhs, Hindus, Muslims and other ethnic group, mostly non white (some white like Greeks and Poles), and yet the UK 2016 is 96% NON Muslim and over 90% white. Muslims aren’t even the largest ethnic group in the UK. Scotland, Wales and NI have tiny Muslim pops and small ethnic populations. In fact most of England is still Muslim/ethnic low or free.
4-—No, London hasn’t voted yet. You in a time wrap ahead of everyone?. I’d have assumed being from Georgia it would be the opposite.
5—The new mayor of London may be Muslim, he might also be a Jew. The UK is also voting for four other city mayors, NONE of whom will be Muslim. London isn’t England or the UK anymore than LA or NY is the US. Americans are reading WAAYY too much into this mayoral election. Khan is standing as a Labour and liberal, just as Zac Goldsmith is standing as a conservative, not s Jew. The idea that Americans see this as some proof of Muslims ruling the UK is bizarre. Its Lord Mayor of London, I dont think Yanks get how minor this is.

1-—Bad gun laws aside, the UK has 2m legal guns. Guns are not banned: myth.
2—Same for Europe. Also Europe has approx. 70 million legal guns, so the myth of gunless Europe is just that, a myth.
And BTW, how many French, Dutch and Spanish were at New Orleans when we sent hardened British "Highlanders" running away with their tail between their legs?

2—New Orleans. From the war of 1812, which nobody won. That would be the battle where the British lost, then turned around, captured Fort Bowyer, marched on Mobile and won several small battles. Well done, you won one major battle. As the British had done in that war on land and sea. As the Americans had also done. New Orleans didn’t win America the war of 1812, it wasn’t even the last battle on land. Never understood why you hype it up so much, you actually had better victories in that war.
3—Those Highlanders/Scots are some of the toughest and best soldiers in history. If we want to talk about running away with tails between your legs, lets talk the miserable American defeat when you tried (for a second time) and failed (for a second time) to conquer Canada in 1813.
Guess which troops were at the front of the British and Canadian troops that sent your army running for the border with ITS tails between their legs...

If you think America ‘bailed’ Britain out of two world wars and the Cold War, then I almost pity your ignorance. Sadly millions of Americans seem to share this ludicrous idea.
I could make fun of the many times American soldiers have been humiliated, but that would be a cheap tactic. I wont lower myself to the level of attacking other countries soldiers.
