The truth is businesses that don’t pay enough to live on are being indirectly subsidized by the government, in the form of food stamps, section 8, EITC, etc. Those allow low paid workers to live and go to work at jobs they where they couldn’t otherwise. That’s why the Chamber types are fine with both welfare and open borders/amnesty.
