SHOCK poll shows where Cruz and Kasich’s supporters will go now that they’re out…
Allen West ^ | 5/4/2016 | The Analytical Economist

Trump is the presumed nominee, and his fiercest critics on the right haven’t budged. Trump is quite distinguished from who he was running against in a number of ways, and he may face a challenge in converting their supporters to his side before November.

A new poll from Morning Consult found...

I am not ignoring his policy promises on his campaign website. I also am not ignoring his past actions and statements. I see the conflicts, and I believe actions speak louder than words. I also am not ignoring when his campaign interview statements conflict with his website.

It's time to unite, or have you not been able to get over your bitterness yet?

Belly-aching between now and November will only help Hillary.

Donald Trump has already basically closed the tentative "deal" with the GOP electorate, so at times he's going to focus some attention on eroding Hillary Clinton's support among some of her key constituencies.

So when Trump gives lip service to things like minimum wage hikes and so on, his conservative supporters shouldn't "freak out" and think he's "abandoning" them. What he's doing is trying to weaken Hillary's appeal, and ultimately his goal is to elicit defections from the Enemy's camp (Hillary) that will cross over to join the growing Revolution.

Let's remember that this is not going to be a traditional left-right ideological contest: instead it's the grassroots (the People) versus the entrenched, corrupt Establishment. Ideological squabbles will necessarily be secondary to the higher priority of assembling a broad, winning electoral coalition.

Let's keep our eye on the prize and rest assured in the knowledge that, if we can just get Trump elected, enormous positive consequences are going to flow from that.

As for Cruz supporters saying they'll vote for Hillary, that's ridiculous, and, if true at all, can only be the result of severe, rashy butthurt which will fade in due time, with application of appropriate soothing balms.

Vote Trump!

What amazes me is that Cruz supports tout him as the best conservative but if you listen, Trump is more conservative than Cruz. He just has never jumped on the “conservative” issues that have nothing to do with running this country.

He has never jumped on sound bite issues that were the flavor of the day.

They both supported Rommney correct? Rommneycare, Rommney’s change from pro choice to prolife? And they can’t support Trump?? Beck and Levin are huge jokes.

Trump supporters vowing to sit out if Cruz won were proclaimed as courageous. But Cruz supporters, now that’s different, isn’t it?

So do Cruz’s actions. He was a policy advisor to Bush. The Bushs are not conservatives. Neither is TPP or the Corker Bill.

The other stuff was just yap to claim he was a real conservative.

I remember a day not to long ago, right before Iowa, when the Senate was voting on a crop insurance bill.

Ted voted one way and when informed it may not go over with Iowa voters, he went back and changed his vote.

That is the real Cruz. A pretender to a conservative mantle he fashioned for himself to fool people.

Exactly; still a lot of sore feelings, though WHY anyone was still supporting KaSicko and is angry at Trump now, I don’t understand, but there are a whole LOT of very stupid people out there.

You are acting stupidly. Trump did not win overwhelmingly. He got less than half of the GOP vote. Seems to me you still need the people you are attacking for Trump to win.

Maybe less attacking would get him some of that vote. But hey what do I know I am just a dumbass Cruz supporter who is unsure of Trump.

Hey here is a idea maybe you could stop attacking me and win me over to Trump. Or do you think insulting me and other Cruz supporters will work better for Trump?

The problem is that Trump has also said he is pro-choice.

Cruz is out. The anti-Cruz argument is now mute. Defend Trump on his own merits.

The Cruz supporters probably stayed home and refused to vote for Romney. For a lot of them, no one is religiously pure enough.

Even worse. I bet nearly all of them voted for Romney. LOL.

The segment just started and Levin got a caller that was a Cruz supporter but will support Trump since Cruz dropped out.
Levin went on to his tirade and yes it was a tirade about Trump not being a ‘true’ conservative.
My whole point was instead of arguing with the caller to go with the obvious Nominee as the caller said he was.
Levin questioned the caller about Trump's conservatism.
Levin went further to say,he's a flip flopper on everything conservative.
Levin whole premise was to not accept Trump to anyone supporting him.

No one has won anything until we get our borders and our country back. My point was there is no perfect conservative that meets everyone’s standard. I would consider anyone who intentionally lets Hillary win to be someone who loves his own ego more than his country!

I’d consider anyone calling Trump a “LIBERAL” to be too stupid to be allowed to vote; especially when the Dem candidate is Hillary or Bernie of “Uncle Joe”. And that person certainly isn’t a Conservative.

I don’t remember any trump supporters vowing to stay home if ted won.

I remember trump supporters vowing to leave the top if the party elders used chicanery to subvert a result they didn’t agree with.

Now, let’s also realize neither of our statements would stand as absolutes. There’s always an exception to prove the rule. I am talking about consensus opinions.

There is a difference...

I assume you guys know that Ted Cruz suspended his campaign last night. The real enemy is, and always has been, Hillary Clinton — an existential threat to the Republic.

So give it up already!

I don’t need to defend him. He does that quite well on his own.
