Trump would be an idiot to pick Kasich as VP.

And then he made a deal with Cruz - who double crossed him - to stop Trump?

You’ve been reading to many Agatha Christy novels Hercule

Are you suggesting that Trump was colluding and conspiring with Kasich to corrupt the delegation selection process? And you call this a “gentleman’s agreement”?

I sure hope not! I’d hate to see K-siock as VP. Anything more that White House Men’s room attendent would be problematic for me.

When Cruz is named as the vice presidential nominee, don’t say no one told you.

I think Kasich and Cruz were natural allies to siphon votes from Trump. Together they cover a wider spread of appeal than either alone would present.

I think the powers that be flinched at spending another $50,000,000.00 or so for more goose egg results. Closed checkbooks meant closed doors on those two ankle biter campaigns. The war to thwart Trump will be conducted on other fronts now. The primary has been ceded.

Anyone else think Kasich must have had a gentlemen's agreement with Trump?

Absolutely!

And Colorado has legal pot!

As a former Cruz supporter my vote for Trump is not a gaurentee should he pick some liberal dull head. I guess all votes are off till this settles down.

When Cruz dropped out, there was no more hope for a contested convention and that ended Kasich’s long, long shot hopes. And it probably ended his financial backing.

Trump campaign had asked volunteers to keep making calls because neither Cruz nor Kasich had endorse him. They are not trusting Cruz and Kasich at all.

Kasich was riding Cruz’ coat tails, letting Ted do all of the heavy lifting, letting Cruz spend the millions against TRUMP, and letting Cruz coordinate the delegate ambush of TRUMP at Convention. Kasich just knew the insiders would execute a backfire at Convention.

Kasich placed all of his chips on the GOPE clout and ownership of the Party to succeed in dispatching both Trump, and then Cruz, at the convention and to settle on him.

John Kasich never did get it. He never saw the movement coming, and must be every bit as gob smacked as the GOPE that Cruz folded and messed up Kasich’s game as well.

Kasich had to be B R O K E, and could no longer afford to go it alone absent the Cruz financial jet stream.

Just my humble observation, however. :)

Kasich was in it to protect Trump. Once Cruz dropped out, he wasn’t needed anymore.

Trump would have to choose a VP that will share his ideas. I hate to say it, but I think there is a high chance Trump will be killed. The violent hatred for him in the latino and left community is like I have ever seen. If he picks Kasich you go from “Build The Wall” to amnesty in one heartbeat.
