Think America's terrified of Donald Trump? Check out how the rest of the world's reacting.
Vox ^ | May 5, 2016 | Zack Beauchamp

After Donald Trump secured the Republican nomination on Tuesday night, the BBC rounded up the reactions from the global press to Trump's victory. Aside from some gloating in authoritarian Russia and China, the reaction was pretty shocked.

"The craziest US presidential election campaign begins," Germany's Die Welt daily wrote. "The unthinkable has come to pass."

I’d laugh out loud if Trump announced he’s taking a second look at the German unification.

I feel exactly the same, though, as I said, I do find some pleasure in the evidence they are afraid of him...

Well - I see the former prez of Mexico is already apologizing for using the F word in relating to “The Wall” and inviting The Donald for a visit to his country - other countries always say all sorts of nasty things about us, but what they really think underneath is that most of them are glad we’re here and will come looking to us for help the first bit of trouble they have...(at least they used to before Obama started leading from behind).....

Trump is no Reagan

Perhaps not. But in 1980 Reagan was no Reagan either.

I would submit that based on life experience and leadership ability, Trump is closer to Reagan than any other candidate we had this cycle.

Hey, Zack Beauchamp and Vox...

Don’t have a cow, man.

Don’t wet your pants, either.

I’ve been hearing leftist lies like that since at least when Goldwater was running for President. That tune never had ‘the ring of truth’ to it, and it has grown pretty old. But leftist idiots continue to push that line. This means you, Zack. You are not fooling us. Or anyone who is not willfully deceived.

The rest of the world was madly in love with Obama.

Look where that got us.

The world is burning. Obama and his many apologists may claim that it’s not his fault, but Obama lies and so do they. Constantly.

Do you even understand that? If not, why not?

It seems that “the rest of the world” is apparently a moron, possessed with the intellect of a below-average-performing child. (Yeah, that is also an apt description of the typical person who writes propaganda for Vox.)

No sane person would even pay attention to what “the rest of the world” thinks or fears when choosing a movie to rent. Why should anyone pay attention when they tell us how to vote, or otherwise express their foolish and unfounded fears?

“And here comes in the question whether it is better to be loved rather than feared, or feared rather than loved. It might perhaps be answered that we should wish to be both; but since love and fear can hardly exist together, if we must choose between them, it is far safer to be feared than loved.”
— Machiavelli

So I take it no Nobel Peace Prize for President Trump in his first year in office?

“Be Feared.”
“Do not be afraid to be powerful.”
“Never listen to those who warn that ferocity on our part reduces us to the level of the terrorists.”
“Do not worry about alienating already-hostile populations.”

I agree. As the ancient Romans said:”Let them hate, so long as they fear’’.

[...and apparently someone in the Cruz campaign identified themselves as my brother in order to ring her up and put the bite on her. Thankfully she only gave them $50. In exchange they sent her a copy of Cruz’ book, “A Time for Truth”.]

I think we’ve had a few of those right here. Essentially.

What Donald Trump is Mr. Beauchamp talking about that the rest of the world is reacting to? The successful businessman cum statesman Trump that I’ve been listening to at Trump rallies, or the demonized Trump created by the corrupt Washington cartel with the help of the likewise corrupt global MSM?

” I could care less what the whining classes in Stockholm and elsewhere are thinking”

Yeah, me too! I just want Trump to cut off most of the military and foreign aid to these a$$hoiles! I am begining to think that the reason these socialist/Marxist European countries haven’t collapsed financially is because we’ve been putting up most of the money for their defense, leaving them free to spend their own money on social programs. It has just been so wrong for so long! Go Trump!

I like it when they are scared. We need to remind them that Americans are capable of some freaky $#!& so they need to step back and check themselves before we unleash on them. No more Mister Nice Guy. I’ve had it with being the world’s scapegoat.

“God will help us all if Trump wins.”

No! God will help us, but the rest of the world, not so much! More importantly, for the first time in decades, we will be helping ourselves first for a change.

“The unthinkable has come to pass.”

Yes. The unthinkable if you are a delusional European Union socialist. Why anyone would follow that failed model over the cliff is beyond reason.
