A NOTE TO GOP LEADERS
boblonsberry.com ^ | 05/06/16 | Bob Lonsberry

Posted on 05/06/2016 8:08:22 AM PDT by shortstop

It’s not Trump they’re rejecting.

It’s the people who voted for him.

As highbrow Republicans turn away from Trump – by boycotting the convention or disavowing his candidacy – it is the voters they are truly turning away from. And the Republican Party should remember that that is a two-way street.

And Trump voters should remember that they have the power in their hands.

In recent days, Mitt Romney and John McCain – as well as both George Bushs -- have said they will not attend a Republican convention that nominates Donald Trump, and House Speaker Paul Ryan has said that he’s “not ready” to support Trump’s candidacy.

Which is fine.

Because Trump voters aren’t ready to support the Republican Party.

If the elites of the Republican Party will not heed the will of primary voters and the outcome of their own candidate-selection process, if the bosses will put their own judgment above the judgment of the people, then it’s time to cut those bosses loose.

Trump voters can do that by pledging to vote for just one Republican in November.

Go into the voting booth, vote for Trump for president, and walk out without casting a vote for any other candidate. If the GOP wants to go it alone, let it.

If Ryan can’t support Trump, then Trump voters can’t support Ryan. Under current circumstances, no Trump voter can in good conscience vote for a single Republican candidate for Congress. Doing so would empower the very man – Speaker Ryan – who spits in the face of Trump supporters.

So screw him.

Screw them all.

Patriotic Americans have repeatedly turned to and empowered the Republican Party, and not gotten a damn thing for it. Trump voters put Mitch McConnell in power and Trump voters put Paul Ryan in power and things only got worse.

We handed John Boehner the House of Representatives on a silver platter and the high point of his career was some gag video with Obama.

Every two years it becomes depressingly more clear that the Republican Party’s lust for establishment security renders it no alternative to the anti-American progressive feces the Democrats are smearing across our flag and Constitution.

The desperation and anger are so high that we’ve chosen Donald Trump as our champion.

And now the frat boys say he’s not good enough.

Well, the frat boys can feel the steel of our votes.

Unless the leaders of the Republican Party come around and accept the will of Republican caucus and primary voters, those Republican caucus and primary voters should abandon the party in November.

Vote for Trump, and walk away.

The dog is snarling at you. Kick it in the head to teach it some manners.

Paul Ryan is nobody unless Trump voters return his Republican majority to the House. Mitch McConnell is nobody unless Trump voters return his Republican majority to the Senate. The whole GOP establishment is nothing unless we keep freely giving it our votes.

But there is no point in paying the servant who doesn’t serve you. There is no point in paying the servant who thinks he is your master. And if the Republican bosses keeping giving the finger to the candidate of the people, it’s time to kick those Republican bosses right square in the political crotch.

Paul Ryan can continue to lecture voters stupid enough to support someone he doesn’t approve of – for another eight months. Then he can hand the big hammer back to Nancy Pelosi.

Because as much as we hate her, we hate him more. She is a snake being true to her colors. And he isn’t. The whole Republican Party isn’t. They preach one way and govern another, and we’re tired of it.

The Trump voter is like Samson, blinded and mocked by the political bosses.

And unless things change, on Election Day, the Trump voter is going to push against the pillars of the pagan temple and bring it down in ruins upon the heads of the Republican establishment.

So the situation is simple. Paul Ryan and the rest of the Republican gods can either respect the voice of the primary voters.

Or they can kiss those voters goodbye on Election Day.

Because unless things change, the motto of the Trump voter will be: Vote for one Republican, Donald Trump. Let the rest of them fend for themselves.

No local Republicans, no state Republicans, no House Republicans, no Senate Republicans.

If you don’t respect our vote in the primary, you won’t have our vote in November.

Get comfortable with that, Mr. Speaker.

Paul Ryan was never anything more than John Boehner lite. We knew it when he was appointed. I have planned to change my voter registration in Florida to No Party Affiliation but I'm waiting for the Senate primary so I can vote against my RINO GOPe congressman David Jolly. He epitomizes a typical RINO. It didn't take him long to adapt to Washington politics. I want him gone. I will have Charlie Crist to look forward to as my new Congressman (BARF).

GOP leaders all seem to believe they provide their own air to breathe, blood for their hearts to pump, and the light to power their ability to see.

Little gods they are, they believe.

Don’t stand near them.

I have repeatedly asserted that the GOPe’s sole concern is in keeping congress, that the White House run is intended as a dog and pony show. That they don't want to win the White House, as history has shown that voters will eject the winning party from congress. That for our own self defense, we do this time and time again, to protect ourselves from our very government.

More importantly, they are also protecting all their family, lovers and friends who are lodged in many government and lobbyist positions with little to no qualifications other than their relationship to the Speaker or another elected official.

I understand fighting for your family. I'm fighting for mine, fighting against the parasitic class who has assumed that my family's future is there to farm for their own personal gain. That they are entitled to not just a portion of my wages, but of my future as well.

As they have created a social disaster among the people with free health care, free phones, nearly free cable, nearly free internet, free food, free money, free rent, they live the large life off of the backs of the people. They give themselves lifetime retirements, not for decades of hard work, but merely for winning popularity contests. They don't ‘retire’, they fail to be reelected and win a jackpot of public money in the process.

Speaker Ryan, with all due respect that I give to every parasite, I have to hope that focus comes to you and yours, as once again, rather than sensing the winds of the electorate, you double downed on stupid.

My suggestion? Do the math. You've written checks that no economy can ever sustain. Then it might be time to call it a night.

I’m as mad as hell..... For the Trump supporters that don’t have good, conservative representatives, this may be a plan. There are, however, a few, a very few folks that we really need to keep in play. My rep will get my donations and vote; he has proven his worth to me. We are going to need a few good men. Tom Massie, Kentucky, is one.

CHAPTER VI. SORROWS OF TEUFELSDROCKH.

We have long felt that, with a man like our Professor, matters must often be expected to take a course of their own; that in so multiplex, intricate a nature, there might be channels, both for admitting and emitting, such as the Psychologist had seldom noted; in short, that on no grand occasion and convulsion, neither in the joy-storm nor in the woe-storm could you predict his demeanor.

To our less philosophical readers, for example, it is now clear that the so passionate Teufelsdrockh precipitated through "a shivered Universe" in this extraordinary way, has only one of three things which he can next do: Establish himself in Bedlam; begin writing Satanic Poetry; or...

Every election these establishment Uniparty turds all of the sudden pretend to become solid conservatives, only to do an about face upon getting re-elected, and returning to the vomit of their globalist agenda, with America and her citizens getting tossed to the curb. Trump has forced them to show their true colors, and they are not red, white, and blue.

Well written piece. Thanks for posting.

EXTENSION OF REMARKS OF HON. A. S. HERLONG, JR. OF FLORIDA

IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

Thursday, January 10, 1963

Mr. HERLONG. Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Fla., is an ardent and articulate opponent of communism, and until recently published the De Land Courier, which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the dangers of communism in America.

At Mrs. Nordman’s request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following “Current Communist Goals,” which she identifies as an excerpt from “The Naked Communist,” by Cleon Skousen:

CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS:

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

When the people rise up and try to take control back from the political parties, that is when you see their true colors. They are protecting their system from you.

The GOPe just doesn’t get it. Maybe it’ll sink in but I doubt it.
Trump is really exposing the gap between us the people who ultimately do hold the power by our votes, and the status quo, The GOPe and DEMe two sides of the same coin.

Want to get rid of Paul Ryan?

Support his challenger Paul Nehlen:

http://www.paulnehlen.com/

“Like many people in this district, I’ve had the opportunity to meet Paul Ryan personally. He’s shaken my hand. He’s looked me in the eye. He’s made promises to me and many others about policies he would and would not support on behalf of this district. We’ve all watched as he’s broken every single one of those promises.

“I’m a manufacturing guy and an inventor. I started my working life right on the factory floor and worked my way up to run manufacturing companies. That’s part of what I love about Wisconsin’s 1st District and one of the chief reasons why—of all the places I could have chosen to settle—I chose to be here. The southeast corner of Wisconsin has deep roots in manufacturing and industry.

“So, when Paul Ryan began pushing a massive, job-killing international “trade” deal known as the Trade Promotion Authority and Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPA/TPP), it was the final straw for me. I know what TPA/TPP will do to this district. It sells out American workers. It sells out American business and industry. It will kill the economy in this district, never mind the rest of the nation.

“Why would Paul Ryan do such a thing?

“I asked myself that question again and again, trying to understand. I couldn’t believe he would be so reckless. I couldn’t believe he would sell out his own district in that way.

“And then I started looking at public records…and it all began to make sense.

“Approximately 83 percent of Paul Ryan’s campaign funding comes from outside of Wisconsin’s 1st District. And of that 83 percent, 65 percent of his funding comes straight from Washington, D.C. and Alexandria, Virginia.

“Paul Ryan isn’t representing our district. He’s representing the big businesses and big banks that pour money into his campaign coffers. It’s their agendas he’s carrying forward with his votes in Congress…not ours.”
