Reince Priebuss transformation into one of Donald Trumps strongest advocates continues this week. Mr. Priebus declared an enthusiastic General Election outlook to the media as he echoed Donald Trumps repeated assertion that in 2016 there will be many traditionally blue states that the New York billionaire is confident he will prove to be very competitive in come Election Day. Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus on Friday said Donald Trump can expand the electoral map in November, winning important swing states and putting solid-blue states in play.

And he added that Trump could put Michigan and Minnesota in play.
The only way to possibly do that is by preventing free-loaders from voting. Not likely.
The more people are exposed to Hillary, the less support whe will have. I can’t stand to hear the voice of Hillary. Wait until she starts to panic and goes into screech mode.
Why don't you just go full Romney and declare everyone you sit in judgement on a democrat voter and announce that we have already lost.
Nothing magic this year. Those states are the ones that count. That was why I didn’t think Cruz had a prayer, he was 17% in FL and 13% in OH.
I really wish we could get Burney to run on the Green Party ticket like Nader did, but I suspect he’d fear Arkancide.
Just too many dem loyalists.
Actually, white working and middle-class voters stayed home in 2012 because Romney cared more about his corporate buddies than their concerns. Trump puts these voters into play, and the free-loaders are not going to come out for Hillary as they did for Obama.
It really shows you the mess we would have had with Cruz.
His hard-core supporters would have written off whole chunks of the country by now.
There are a lot of white private-sector workers who can be convinced that Democrat policies are not good for their financial future.
Trump puts a lot of voters into play. Blacks, union members/blue collar workers and disgruntled Bernie supporters. West Virginia is a prime example.
last time I heard, Pennsylvania had a 51%-37% voter registration advantage for Democrats, whereas Iowa was only 33%-31% for Republicans & Ohio was something like 35%-33% Republican registration advantage. Arizona is considered to be a “red state”, but Janet Napolitano won two terms as governor in 2002 and 2006. Republicans seem to be able to win governorship of New Jersey, but GOP can’t get any presidents elected from there. Arizona has a ballot proposition “initiative & referendum” process.....and new taxes and new spending programs get passed that way....because there’s no organized opposition against big outsider money pushing legalized marijuana, etc.......so expect there to be a big push for a NATIONAL ballot prop proposal by Lizzie Warren & Obama after he leaves office, with money from Soros, et. Another thing about Arizona politics is that back in the late 1990s I think, Arizona decided to put the abortion issue to vote as a way of showing the courts what the people think to pressure judges into overturning Roe v Wade, but the results came out 2/3 to 1/3 against banning abortion. Sure, Roe versus Wade was court-ordered DE-Regulation of state-licensed medical doctors that put them above the law, with license to kill.....but since it was passed.....most people don’t want any radical changes made to ban abortion.....when put to a vote. Conservatives were surprised & shocked by the results of Arizona’s anti-abortion ballot proposition, but most people aren’t one-issue voters, who only think about banning abortion..even if they think it’s wrong & should be banned....when it comes down to it...they only want modest regulation of medical doctors on that issue....even in red states....
Minnesota always blue. I don’t see that changing. Trump should definitely win Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania. Michigan is a real possibility. And Iowa is hard to gauge with their mixture of liberal and evangelical.

This is not just to primary the RINOs, but to take democrat seats, at the national and state level.
Don’t forget the Dearly Departed community, those crazy dems crawl out of their crypts every election.
More reliable than Old Faithfull
I'm wondering if the US Senate isn't lost, and Trump will have to put together a new coalition there. So many of the Republican backstabbing traitors are up for re-election. They don't deserve to win. Most of the ones I'm referring to haven't endorsed Trump yet, so it's not like they're mending their ways.
I say a 50-state blowout for Trump should be the goal. We write off ZERO states for this campaign. Time to make America great again.
And the less support she has, the more likely the DEM party pulls a switcheroo.
This may or may not turn out to be the case. But Trump winning marginal blue states is a possibility. He is, after all a former Dem and well to the Left of most Freepers on some things we hold pretty dearly around here that are favored by The Left.
But he is our guy so we need to do what we can to keep The Wicked Witch out of the White House.
So at the minimum we should be watching the State Level Trump vs. Clinton polling for the Swing States and the Marginal Blue States. For me the trends over the next few months in those polls will tell the tale. We will find out if choosing Trump was a brilliant move or a dud.
I’m hoping brilliant. But I’m not overly confident.
But the one issue that affects everyone is their pocketbook. That is why dems win because they paint the picture of the evil republican, cutting programs, pushing granny off the cliff. I believe Trump knows how to turn those same pocketbook issues against the dems. Hillary wants to kill the coal industry. Bad deals with TPP/TPA, unfair trade deals, foreigners taking American’s jobs. How to support a family is the most important issue. Trump’s got this.
