The church, where this atrocity occurred, collected 3.3 million and probably had in the low 6 figures worth of damage it had to repair as well.


Wouldn’t the property damage to the church be covered by their property insurance policy??? Just asking; I’m assuming the church had insurance for property damage.

As much as we still grieve for such incidents, it sounds like the church and these people saw a money making opporutnity here.

with 3.3 million collected and 1.66 million given to the families It sounds like the church took half and split the other half to the families of the victims.

I don’t think that’s an unfair disbursement of the funds. (Could’ve split it by 10 too but I think splitting it in half was the more responsible action)
