What abOut JJ Watt?
Maybe retired would be fine. Trump seems to have different ideas about the traditional role of VP. If Trump wins, I believe the military will have a very active role to play here at home.

I like it. Admired him for many years. Like Mr. Trump, he’s great American patriot.
I can think of one other good reason to pick Allen West: so’s I can watch sinkspur’s head explode.
I will settle for George Washington, but as a 24 year veteran I can guarantee you that LTC Alan West WOULD have been promoted to general if he had had even the tiniest politically correct bone in his body. It was as sure that he would get a star as it was that the ocean is wet. He was a fast tracker, but also a man who put the lives of his troops above the life of a terrorist. He’s a hero in my mind. He left it all on the field of battle for his men.
West would be almost too good to be true, wouldn’t he? As far as I’m concerned, you get the award for being first to see the brilliance of such a pick.

Although there are many military leaders who have been forced out of the military that may support Trump, Duncan Hunter Jr. was one of the first congressmen to support Trump.
He has the military background and it seems his father was military and in congress.

Caught a very impressive Retired General Michael T. Flynn on Erin Burnett’s Out Front” show on CNN tonight. He is 57 yrs old and very telegenic. He approves of Trump’s Muslim ban and believes we need new thinking in the war on terrorism.
BTW, Mr. Trump gave an interview today with the New York Times where he said he “was happy” that London had elected its first Muslim mayor and added that he would be exempted from his proposed Muslim ban to visit the USA!!!
