The cops actually ID’ed the guy...he has a German name (non-Muslim), he’s a known drug-user, and he’s not from that local area (he’s from Hessen). The fact that Germans require you to carry an state-ID card around...probably helped to facilitate the quick ID of the guy. In the last hour or two, with German news carrying a little bit more on the guy....the cops said he babbled on and on in an incoherent way after they nabbed him. Delusional was one word that the cops uttered.
I will note this as well....when you hear about some attack in Germany, and a knife was used....which is almost daily now....it’s a Russian or eastern European guy involved in the attack...not a Muslim. Most drug dealers carry knives now as their preferred weapon.
