Maybe he feels like his luck has changed since the Kentucky Derby this past weekend. He certainly didn’t look tired or depressed there.
If I spent my whole life preparing for something, and then losing badly at it, I would not go to the Kentucky Derby mere days after dropping out. I would have been too depressed. I was shocked he went there.
