Rush doesn't care about:

1. Open borders
2. A wall
3. Reducing trade deficits
4. Tariffs
5. H-1B
6. Off shoring

There is nothing there for Rush to support. So Rush is not a pro American nationalist. Simple as that.

You have that exactly right. Rush’s primary interest has always centered around making money. His values now reflect the interests of the financial elite that he eagerly sought to join. He’s an odd counterpoint to Donald Trump, who while very rich often displays a blue collar mentality.
