Geez, I was going to flip on the radio to give him a listen, reading these posts lets me know that it is good that I didn’t.
Rush wants Hiltery to win so he can say I told you so. If I could say what I wanted to say I’d get banned.
While I support Trump, a lot of Trump supporters are thin skinned about Trump. I thought Trump ushered in the eta of say what you think. I guess itit works as long as it doesn’t touch Trump.

Trump is the nominee. For Republicans to think it’s fair to take shots at him is unconscionable. Don’t you care if we win? Doesn’t a Clinton Presidency scare the bejesus out of you?

What is always in the back of my mind is that if Rush does something over and over on his show historically many other talkers or even tv guys will key in on it as well usually irregardless of what it is.

Shoot, watching Lyndon Johnson wreck the country while I was a teenager was enough to motivate me. And Rush is the same age I am.
Nothing would surprise me.
I don’t know if its jealous— I think he may be upset that his influence is less than he thought.
Moreover, I have listened to Rush off and on for a long time and he has NEVER endorsed or entertained any kind of nationalist, America-first ideology.

I think a lot if how he comes in each day depends on e-mails and messages from his friends.
Rush has been confronted with fact now. The pure fact of numbers. He either gets on board or shuts the hell up about “Trumpists” and replaying old interviews and clips and helping the Democrats. His money insulates him probably for the rest of his life. It does not insulate us from the treachery of Democrats or the GOP establishment he seems to be bound and determined to protect now.
To protect or excuse what he is doing even now is reprehensible in my book.

It’s really anti-Trump today with the usual intelligent pro-Trump callers being given the bum’s rush.
He seems to be sparring daily with the "Trumpists" behind the glass, too (his radio studio staff). I'll bet they're gloating big time that they chose the right candidate, and Rush didn't! Maybe wittle Rushie's ego is bruised... ;-)

You have that exactly right. Rush’s primary interest has always centered around making money. His values now reflect the interests of the financial elite that he eagerly sought to join. He’s an odd counterpoint to Donald Trump, who while very rich often displays a blue collar mentality.
