Folks continue to grasp at straws when trying to take Trump down - and the straws have yet to support them.

This article give a valid set of reasons that counter Mitt's assertion that the tax returns "must contain an extraordinary bombshell".

He said he wasn't releasing the returns under advice of Council.

However, we know how that game can be played.

Attorney: "Do you want us to say that you shouldn't release your tax returns?"

Client: "Yes."

Attorney: "Don't release your tax returns."

Client: "Thank you."

Now the client can say that he's taking the action "on advice of counsel."

I'm not saying that is how it happened but short of approving of illegal actions, attorneys can give you almost any type of self-serving advice you want so you can hide behind their advice.

It was said a while ago that Trump cited a law prohibiting returns under audit from being released.
