Very good, indeed.

This is treacherous ground for any target, even a smart lawyer like Mrs. Clinton. She does not know what the feds know about her. She faces a damned-if-she-does and damned-if-she-doesn’t choice here.

She has to assume they know everything. Her defense options are to play ignorant (wipe it...like with a cloth) blame it on someone else, (the IT guy told me the server was fireproof), claim lack of intent (see the following statement from Napolitano) or split hairs (I never sent or received emails marked classified at the time). When it comes to a criminal investigation, none of the above will hold much water. The last recourse would be to strong arm Obama and the DOJ into not pressing criminal charges or maybe settling for some kind of slap on the wrist. As I understand it, even a slap on the wrist would end her political career, but at least she wouldn't end up in the slammer and could still rake in millions running around the country attacking the VRWC.

Mrs. Clinton’s folks are preparing for the worst. They have leaked nonsense from “U.S. officials” that the feds have found no intent to commit espionage on the part of Mrs. Clinton. Too bad these officials -- political appointees, no doubt -- skipped or failed Criminal Law 101. The government need not prove intent for either espionage or for lying to federal agents.

Interviews with the FBI aren't typically done under oath, just like any standard police interview. Nonetheless, a person can still be charged with lying to them if they do under 18 USC § 1001. Unless a person has already been indicted, talking to the FBI at all is an extremely risky proposition.

If they ARE building a real case against Hillary or any of her counterparts, they will have evidence so overwhelming that it will be a race to courthouse to see who gets the best deals. Would I be surprised it all gets swept under the rug? No. However, in my experience, the feds (FBI, IRS-CI, US Attys) simply don't mess around with stuff unless they are 1) extremely serious about it, and 2) have enough evidence to basically guarantee pleas and convictions.

You are welcome. I do mostly criminal defense work and a lot of federal cases. Their investigations take years many times because of the sheer amount of evidence they build. It’s truly amazing to see it first hand—especially when financial crimes may be involved. I really haven’t commented much on this stuff, if at all, but a lot of people are really unaware of just how those guys operate. When they say “we’re in no hurry,” they really aren’t. Trust me, they never are.

The Russians and the Iranians have the email and have used them to black mail this administration into some really bad deals for the US.

Shame on Hillary, a pox on her and her shameless greed for money and power!

She must be denied!

Worthless - not under oath.

Where are the Grand Juries?

They ‘Grand Juried” Martha Stewart and dumped her in jail for ‘lying’...Couldn’t prove ANYthing re insider trading - but scared/threatening a young man who worked for her to change his testimony to what THEY wanted said -

When they are serious about bringing someone to justice - or in railroading - they convene Grand Juries. Anything else is window dressing.

You don’t have to be under oath to be questioned. I would say the reason Mills went in for an interview was because the FBI threatened to formally charge her. She went in thinking it was going to be a routine interview until the FBI “sprung” something on her. That’s why her and her lawyer got up and left. They knew they got had. She couldnt plead the 5th because she wasn’t charged, so they come up with client/lawyer privilege. Is she is saying, she didnt work for the state, but as Hillary’s council?

The FBI has another opening here since this is also a civil case. I believe any deposition taken in a civil case can be used against them in the criminal case even if it isnt related to the original charges.

This is just my opinion.

One thing to remember is the FBI is stacked with professional investigators, who have dedicated time, energy and resources to tbis investigation. Hillary has crapped on them for 40 years, to include Comey. I hoping the “good” guys have had enough.

Interrogations and interviewing are essentially the same thing, however, both have severe consequences if a govt. employee is caught lying during these “sit downs”. This is most likely why she left the room with her lawyers. Apparently she came back after a few minutes. The FBI knows where to go if she refuses to answer certain questions.

and done in the presence of the same legal team which represented all five aides

Meaning the REAL client of the legal team was Hillary. If you don't have a lawyer who represents you exclusively, then you don't have a lawyer.

Yes. Hillary’s aides having the same lawyer is a patently transparent scheme designed to coordinate stories and to have real time intel on the questions asked and answers given.

Cheryl Mills is part of that group, imho, to keep an eye on the other three. Mills is not going down, no way, no how. She knows where every single body is buried, every skeleton in the Clintons’ closet, way more than even Huma Abedin. Huma was still in high school during the Clinton’s first term, while Mills was busy building her retirement account handling countless Clinton coverups.

Interesting that Huma Abedin isn’t playing the let’s-share-a-lawyer game. She has her own attorney. Was Hillary’s consort not invited to the shared attorney party? Or did she decline the invite?

Putin/the Kremlin has all of these missing emails, and they will probably be available for all of us to read after Cankles becomes the Rat candidate.

Clintoon may become a footnote in history if/when Putin releases her emails.

Hillary’s Emails Hacked by Russia – Kremlin Deciding Whether to Release 20,000 Stolen Emails

The Gateway Pundit ^ | May 10, 2016 | Jim Hoft Posted on 5/10/2016, 6:38:13 AM by maggief

The Kremlin is debating whether to release the 20,000 emails they have hacked off of Hillary Clinton’s server.

According to a report from four days ago, beginning in 2011, the Russians began monitoring Romanian computer hacker Marcel Lazăr Lehel (aka Guccifer) after he attempted, unsuccessfully, to break into the computer system of the Russian funded RT television network.

After monitoring Guccifer, the Russians were reportedly able to record (both physically and electronically) his actions which allowed the Russian intelligence analysts, in 2013, to not only detect his breaking into the private computer of Secretary Clinton, but also break in and copy all of its contents as well.

The report notes that shortly after Russia obtained Clinton’s emails, they released a limited amount to RT TV which were published in an article in March 2013, titled Hillary Clinton’s ‘hacked’ Benghazi emails: FULL RELEASE.

Apparently no Western journalists promoted this story in 2013.

Only legal misery tough enough for this con artist is jail

Agreed. The destruction of her reputation and her grubby self-serving ambitions while she rots in prison is a tasty dish. Let's hope the investigation is prolonged enough before then that Drunkle Joe and Faux-ca-hontas can't steal the election.

“Clinton should have been in prison once the first classified INFO was found on her server. Let me state as I was the S-2 INTEL Officer of a TS Nuclear unit for three months in 1969 while recovering from two gunshot wounds. Had I carried one TS document out of that office overnight and sent that to anyone via such insecure means as email my ass would still be in Leavenworth.”

ASA Vet has a list of former MI people on FR. If any of us on that list, had screwed the pooch with 1 TS document, let alone the number the traitor Clintoon did. We would be in Leavenworth or worse.

“All this leaking might lead one to the conclusion that DOJ is trying to avoid the obvious misdeeds of Hillary and the FBI is making sure enough information gets out there that the DOJ cant ignore the obvious.”

Obozo’s DOJ traitors would lie about the sun rising in the east and setting in the west to enable Clintoon to escape prison for her crimes.

“So far all I hear is noise, when I actually see some indictments then I will believe it.”

Look, “noise” is not a bad start. The story of HRC’s private email server broke in the NYTimes 15 months ago. Although it made a bit of a splash, the most frequent prediction from people on the left and the right has been, until a couple of months ago, that the story would fade because, depending on your perspective, “The Clintons get away with everything” or “It's much ado about nothing, pedaled by the vast, right-wing conspiracy.” Yet...the story only has got juicier over the past couple of months.

Do you think HRC is REALLY brushing this off behind the scenes? Do you think she really isn't worried at all? Trump is going to go after HRC with this full-force, especially is there's still no indictment in a couple of months.

So, I say, let the “noise” continue!

“Then they were not interrogations at all. They were interviews.”

Martha Stewart ended up going to prison for a lie she told during an “interview” with the Feds when she was NOT under oath.
