Top 10 Reasons Trump Should Not Release His Tax Returns

Should Donald Trump release his tax returns? It depends on whom you ask. It is not legally required for candidates for public office to release any tax returns. Only tradition requires it. So, perhaps, does the kind of 'nothing to hide' vetting that is supposed to leave no aspect of a candidate's life unexamined.

Even so, should he release them? Trump breaks with many traditions. Moreover, there are some good reasons for him not to release them. It is hard not to observe the whole opposite effect that Trump has spawned. Perhaps the growing and increasingly loud cries for Trump to hand over the returns could have the opposite impact. Here are 10 reasons Mr. Trump might want to stick to his guns and not bother.

Any reason that makes any of them mad is worth not releasing them.

Cute! Now shorten that into a tweetable form and forward it to the Trump campaign ;-)

I’ve been holding a private conversation with someone regarding the upcoming general election, and guess what? T’s refusal to release tax documents “when everyone else has done so” was the question of the day. I said I wasn’t familiar with this issue, and then referred to FR and BINGO.. found this is the dem talking point of the day.

Now to go back and DIPLOMATICALLY lead to Trump. It’s so frustrating that people are led like sheep and cannot think for themselves.

NO ONE, AND I FEEL NO ONE...
should release FEDERAL TAX RETRUNS...THAT IS BETWEEN THE IRS AND THE INDIVIDUAL FILER...NO ONE ELSE.

WE HAVE ALL SEEN WHAT THE IRS AND LOIS LERNER DID AND SHE WALKED AWAY ‘WITH NO CHARGES’ AGAINST HER..
IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO TRUST ANY GOVERNMENT OFFICE, SINCE THE WON WON HIS SO CALLED ELECTIONS..

I am sick and tired of so called ‘politics’ as usual. we are supporting a MAN WHO IS A BUSINESS MAN .. AND WE ARE TELLING THE GOVERNMENT we are sick and tired of their lies, tricks, and cheating...enough is enough...stay out of our personal tax files...

Want to know my income, I will give you a ball park figure , want to know how much in taxes I paid? I again will give you a ball park figure, nothing more..take it or leave it..end of subject.

It makes no sense for him to make them public. The commie/Nazi libs in Obonzo’s state controlled “media” will be finding stuff in the returns that actually isn’t there. Kind of like when they found the “right” to abortions and men peeing in the ladies room in the US Constitution.

Trump: “I’ll release my tax returns when Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton release their medical records.” “And when Obama explains his multiple Social Security numbers.”

That’s what he should say.

Because it’s not a Constitutional requirement, and it’s nobody’s business but his own?

Trump is a candidate for nomination to run for office. He’s won that battle - even if there are still behind the scenes efforts to jockey for position if he does or says something really stupid that costs him those last needed delegates.

The crux of it? He just flat assed doesn’t have to. He’s won, just like he ignored Cruz’ plea to debate him one-on-one. You don’t open yourself up for needless reasons.

If and when there is a renewed call during the general election campaign and Hillary’s camp or the media “call” for him to release them, then he can decide based on his conditions. One such condition might be that Hillary and that Crime Foundation release all their tax records.....

Lastly, the best reason is to not release them because it pisses off the Republican Establishment Elites like Romney. They are dumbfounded that they’ve been found out by the voters and they just cannot wrap their minds around it.

“Tradition”? Since when? Even if it is a tradition, it is a tradition that should die, just like the tradition that homosexuals can marry.

The idea of “traditions” being invoked to govern ones behavior....?

Trump: “It’s also traditional for the Secy of State to not accept contributions from foreign governments while he or she is conducting state business. It’s also illegal”.

“It’s also traditional for the US to support its military men and women and I see none of that coming from this administration”.

“It’s also traditional for the president to work for the betterment of the citizens on the US and not to favor folks who have entered the US illegally and are staying here and using welfare and other benefits when citizens of the US are struggling in a very weak economy”.

“It’s traditional for a failed candidate like Mitt Romney who lost to BHO and for HRC who also lost to Barack 0bama to GO AWAY and to stop thinking they have something to offer when they have given us an administration with such poor performance as this one. And you have to ask yourself, Romney had Romneycare and Hillary had Hillarycare, and now they are both singing exactly the same tune on my tax returns. So if Mitt Romney wants to attack me for my tax returns and then to cast aspersions on me when Harry Reid stood on the Senate floor and stated that he had seen Romneys’ returns, WHICH IS ADMITTING TO A FELONY, I have to start thinking that Mitt and Hillary are on the same team. So tell me why I should listen to them. They are losers, I don’t take advice from losers.”

“So when it comes to tradition, if you are not going to apply it to the people in power in this country who have led it in a terrible direction, please do not apply that standard to me and do not ask me to take advise from losers.”

Because being willing to ‘stick to his guns’ is exactly what makes him different from all the other Republicans.

“Trump should simply say, I asked Hillary if she had any spare room on her server and that’s where I’ve stored my tax returns. Ask her to release the contents of her server and that’s where you can find them.”

Reading this made me laugh...

My mom wanted to know why I was laughing. I tried to read what you said. Seriously I tried about 5 times. Each time I tried ...I couldn’t get the words out...just too funny...I started laughing again until I was crying!

Reason #1: It pisses off the liberals and they are the ONLY ones demanding to see them.
