The Obama administration is planning to issue a sweeping directive telling every public school district in the country to allow transgender students to use the bathrooms that match their gender identity.
A letter to school districts will go out Friday, adding to a highly charged debate over transgender rights in the middle of the administration’s legal fight with North Carolina over the issue.

This is where it can get very interesting. If schools must conform to "gender identity", rather than the scientific definition of gender, then there really is no gender at all. And if there is no gender, all the women's rights laws like Title IX are obsolete.

You are right. Purportedly, this ruling extends to locker rooms, so expect there to be individual shower rooms with locking doors installed everywhere (and imagine the hanky panky that will happen in those rooms).
But there is no gender equality until guys are permitted on girls’ sports teams and vice versa. At the college level, where scholarships are at stake, this could get very interesting.
Once the sanctity of Title IX is breached, there will be interesting consequences.
We’re thinking alike. This has to lead to gender equality on sports’ teams and access to scholarships. No way around it.

Yup. The parents will leave their kids in those schools. The lousy standards aren’t enough to motivate change, the anti-religious propaganda isn’t enough, moochelles lunch lady efforts haven’t done it, the race assaults in the schools haven’t caused an exodus and I fully expect that trannies in the showers won’t result in any exodus either.
So why should I spend my time trying to change the way the government schools are run? I don’t use the services. The parents who are on government school welfare clearly don’t give a sh*t or are actively complicit. I have better things to do with my day than tilt at windmills.
Perhaps a better approach than “saving” a system that clearly doesn’t want to be saved is to do what I can to minimize it’s impact on me and mine.

The left is now trying to redefine the term "woman" to mean women and some mentally ill men.
This has nothing to do with bathrooms and invented rights for sexual perversion. They want your kids bodies, souls and minds.

First, if the states are already accepting funds for agreed-upon purposes, it is coercive and unconstitutional to withdraw all the funding by adding new provisions.
Second, it is Congress, and not the President, who sets the purposes of the funding. Obama cannot add new spending requirements on his own and then withhold the funding for non-compliance.
So the SCOTUS ruling on the Medicare expansion of Obamacare should be precedent to stop Obama from using federal funding supplements to schools to coerce them into accepting new bathroom political policies.

“Public” schools, not “Private”. (Sidwell Friends is exempt). I wonder why?..Perhaps no “Transgenders”, (whatever that is), in “Private “ schools.

The terrifying thought of a young girl in a bathroom alone and experiencing the trauma of a male dressed in woman’s clothing coming in to relieve himself while she cowers and hides in a stall is rather pleasing to these warped minds.
