Millions of Democrats are voting for a presidential candidate linked to an FBI criminal investigation. These voters either don't know there's been a year-long FBI investigation of Clinton's emails, don't care, or would vote for Clinton even she faced Espionage Act indictments. Potentially our next Commander in Chief will be interviewed by the FBI soon, as will her top aides. This state of affairs would never take place in any other leading democracy, but American politics is unique.
If the FBI recommends indictments, and the DOJ indicts Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party would be handing Donald Trump the White House by nominating the former Secretary of State. I explain in this YouTube segment why Clinton should concede the Democratic nomination to Bernie Sanders, before the political ramifications of a contested convention, and before the FBI discloses its findings.

First, there used to be a time in American history when Bernie Sanders would be the only choice for Democratic nominee. Not long ago, an FBI investigation meant the end of a presidential campaign. Clinton would have been forced to conceded at any point in U.S. history before 2016, linked to a criminal FBI investigation.
Unfortunately, the inept Republican Party, combined with Bill and Hillary Clinton's uncanny ability to circumvent scandal, have made even FBI investigations morally relative. Because of Ken Starr, Benghazi hearings, and the notion that anything Republicans advocate must either be a conspiracy, or some plot to harm Hillary Clinton, voters simply roll their eyes at controversy.
I think the author completely missed the uncomfortable truth: Bill and Hillary Clinton continue to get away with this because progressives let them do so.
If a Republican had done have of the things that Bill and Hillary have been proven to do, progressives would be calling for a scalp. And, other Republicans would be joining them. But, they give a "mulligan" on even the worse behavior by Democrats.
Nixon resigned even before his impeachment, because leading Republicans in the House and Senate told him they wouldn't protect him. Contrast that to Clinton, who was protected even though he clearly committed a federal crime of felony perjury (and was subsequently disbarred).
Even though Clinton had been accused of sexual harassment by multiple women, and there was evidence of behavior that would have had any CEO fired, the National Organization for Women continued to defend him.
Bill and Hillary Clinton consider themselves "untouchable" because progressives always look the other way. It's not "ineptitude" by the Republicans -- it's because you continue to defend indefensible behavior. If progressives want to know why the Clinton's continue get away with it: LOOK IN THE DAMN MIRROR.
If you had held Bill or Hillary accountable just once, they would have disappeared from the national scene. It's your fault Hillary is manipulating her way to the Democrat nomination, not the Republicans.

Not at all. I actually find it amusing, because a lot of people fell for the "non-partisan" claim by MoveOn and signed on. When they showed their true partisan stripes, there were a lot of angry people.
Just preserving the false narratives that corrupt whitewater deals wasn’t really corruption and that Benghazi catastrophe wasn’t really a horrific failure.
Hillary! will not be indicted nor will she be prosecuted. The Clintons are above the law. They will not see justice in this life, ever. The next one, though....
I for one want Hillary running for the Dem nomination until the day she is hauled off in handcuffs. And I want liberals and Democrats and however many corpses and illegals contributing to her campaign until that very day.

If Trump continues to gain ground against Hillary and it becomes obvious she is going to lose, I think she'll be given a choice by the Democrats:
I don't think she will be convicted: she'll either plea bargain to something inconsequential, or find a clueless jury that will decide she isn't guilty of anything important (think the OJ jury).
Her only hope is to stay high enough in the polls to be within striking distance of Trump during the Democrat convention. Then, she has to win the election. If that happens, Democrats will protect her -- for the same reason they protected Bill.
What’s extra sweet in this is that MoveOn was created to protect the Clintons but now are fully in the tank for Bernie.
Bernie will lose with even bigger margins. He supported tyrants and terrorists.

Sorry, but I didn't complete this thought: ..... However, an indictment from either the DoJ or the IRS would completely torpedo her campaign, and she would either withdraw in disgrace or go down in flames in November.
Although it would be wise for her to cut her losses and run, I expect Clinton to fight until the bitter end -- because that's just what she does. Bill is/was a pragmatist, and should have kicked her to the curb long ago. But, I suspect he is as afraid of her wrath as everyone else.
Regardless of the Dems front runner, the Donald will end up in the White House.

My guess is that Obama's Rasputin, Valerie Jarrett, had expected an indictment by now (Creepy Uncle Joe would be her preferred candidate) but Comey is being "careful".
Even if the Democrats somehow manage to get Clinton to quit, they aren't going to nominate Crazy Bernie. They aren't that crazy. We can guess as to how well that will go over.
And everyone thinks the Republicans have problems!
I agree with struggle in post #10: Trump will beat Sanders by an even bigger margin.
All he has to do is repeat the Nixon campaign against McGovern. Nixon simply parroted McGovern's promises, and explained how much it would cost.
Then, he has to explain what taxes would have to be to raise that revenue. Even with 100% taxation on the "top 1%", you can't pay for Sander's promises without substantial tax hikes on the middle class.
You would also have to raise Medicare and Social Security taxes on the lowest 50%. That would go over like a lead balloon.
Comey delivered two messages yesterday.
The fist message was a shot across the bow to Hillary. He directly contradicted Hillary to state the FBI was INVESTIGATING, not conducting a security inquiry, whatever that would mean.
The second message was to Obama. He stated that the FBI was not compelled to meet any particular deadlines. By that, I think he meant that the FBI would choose when the referral would happen.
I think that Bernie lovers would like to see it before the convention in order to drive her out. However, I think Obama would also like it before the convention so that someone pliable, like Biden, can be injected into the fray.
My hope is that Comey will refer the matter for charges after the nomination is sown up and it is too late for the party to coalesce around another candidate. The indecision in the meantime has got to be distracting everyone.
I have come to know and accept that my current gov’t is corrupt. Everybody touts FBI Chief, Comey as a straight arrow, but given the known evidence to date and the time it’s already taken, I’m not too optimistic.
