I watched many of his rallies and every time he mentioned education he said “We’re getting rid of Common Core and taking education LOCAL” to loud cheers. So yes, this has been a consistent theme, but I too am happy to see that he’s viewing the stupid bathroom debate the same way.
Overall, the easiest way to downsize the federal government is going to be pushing things down to the state and local level. Which is where they should have been in the first place.

Have you listened to any of his rallies or interviews? He wants to remove Common Core, way reduce or eliminate the Dept. of Education, and have parents and local control over schools, period. He’s said that since last year.
