Megyn Kelly can’t hide disdain; transgender issue creates bizarre behavior in Fox News host

While some Americans appear to be confused over the differences between a man and a woman, Megyn Kelly has eliminated any confusion about where she stands on the issue.

Kelly had Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick on Friday’s show to discuss the Obama administration‘s directive informing schools that they “must allow transgender students access to such facilities consistent with their gender identity,” and the Fox News host’s disdain could not have been more obvious.

Kelly was uncharacteristically rude and disrespectful to the Texas Republican, eventually cutting away from him in mid-sentence. In particular, she seemed to take exception to Patrick’s charge the directive would “allow men in ladies rooms.”

“Allow men in the ladies’ rooms or allow trans women in the ladies’ rooms?” she asked.

Never mind that “trans women” ARE men from a biological standpoint.

Patrick tried to explain that the directive creates “a great loophole for all the sexual predators and sex offenders,” but Kelly opted to take on the unenviable task of defending sex offenders.

“A lot of sex offenders are men who molest men, who molest boys,” she countered. “Why is there an assumption that they need to sneak in the girls room?”

Her guest tried to emphasize the concern over a young girl being in the same facility as a “30-year-old man,” but Kelly stood firm.

“But what if that man looks like a woman? And she would never know,” Kelly interjected.

“Megyn, you’re missing this,” Patrick replied.

“I don’t think I’m missing anything,” she said condescendingly.

Patrick spoke out earlier in the day against the White House directive critics say contains an implicit threat that schools could face lawsuits or the loss of federal funds if they do not abide.

“Well, in Texas, [President Barack Obama] can keep his 30 pieces of silver,” he told reporters. “We will not yield to blackmail from the president of the United States.”

He went on to say Texas will not comply and that this was “the biggest issue facing families and schools in America since prayer was taken out of public schools.”

She’s just another left-wing lawyer who parleyed her appearance into a career as a newsreader- and the television industry is very much pro-homo, pro-pervert, and will continue to support that with propaganda and advocacy.

My point if you care to read it was will he go there at some point. He said he would support the Republican nominee, yet bashes Trump and his supporters daily.

And MY point is why would you think Rush would come out FOR transgender bathrooms since he’s spent the last week or so tearing down the whole idea?

And WTH does Donald Trump have to do with it anyway? The article was about Megan Kelly and Dan Patrick, the Lt. Gov. of Texas. Trump is never mentioned.

If you want to bash Rush, at least stay on topic.

Flush Limbaugh insults Trump supporters and Trump on a daily basis while ignoring Cruz’s failings.

I can say what ever I want about Flush Limbaugh, I was one of his early listeners here in the DC area on AM radio.

Flush has shown his true shade of GOPe conservatism, He has joined forces with the GOPe to bash Trump, so it won’t be long before he also supports the GOPe on this issue.

You do realize that a couple of months ago people on this forum and others were accusing Rush of backing Trump over Cruz.

Now you say that Rush is trashing Trump.

I’m a Trump supporter and listen to Rush at least part of every day. I have not heard him ‘bash’ Trump. I do hear him talk about Trump and the people who are bashing, but as much as anything, he’s laughing and making fun of the ‘bashers’.

And how exactly is he ‘joining forces with the GOPe’? He has come out vehemently against the GOPe and any kind of 3rd party run.

He has also repeatedly said he’s ABH - ‘Anybody But Hillary’.

So he’s said he’s absolutely against a 3rd party, and he’s said that he thinks the GOPe would be willing to see Hillary elected if it meant keeping control of the party and not giving over control to Trump.

So if he’s against everything the GOPe is espousing, tell me how he’s ‘joining forces’ with them.

And while you’re at it, how about some concrete examples of this bashing?

Surely if you’ve read this many times it must be documented somewhere that doesn’t have an axe to grind?

I wonder how much hate mail comes from churches to such people? Just this morning I heard a preacher talking about a ladies’ mission to the women of strip tease operations who are getting incredulous reactions from these women, who think that all churches are like the ones they have heard of.

There is such a thing as “FR P.C.”

NO, God is not telling us, wait till they are in cages and in the meantime send them hate mail, or any such thing.

Those who dare missions to them may find people that an actual gospel will speak to, a gospel that promises love, not just judgment.

I have no idea, but I wouldn’t rule out the possibility. Right before the first debate, is when I (along with many FReepers) noticed she started REALLY going off the deep end. She was breathlessly telling how the team was preparing. It was ALL about MEGAN.

A perceptive FReeper, forgive me for not dropping breadcrumbs to give proper credit for the visual, described her as wiggling in her seat like a high school mean girl planning mischief at the prom.

She’s done nothing but get worse.

That’s stupid, you are trolling now.

This isn't the first thread on the topic. Simply take a look back at the posting history. I am beginning to think........nevermind.

What if a male teacher or other male school employee wanted to use a restroom girls use? It is possible to have a 30 year old male in a bathroom at a school. I realize employees are supposed to use staff bathrooms but if the law says people can use whatever bathroom they identify with...
