Not guilty.
“I agree. We as a country need to shun this crap.”
Yes. In our country, women are people. This is like striking the coffles off of a slave.
Those traditions don’t apply to an enemy openly there to subjugate, kill, and overthrow - to make the country Dar al Islam.
Further, an airline cabin is not a neutral area. Islam launched open war against the US from that very location. Reference 9/11.
Seeing a Muslim on an airplane is a terrifying experience for some - terrorism - and they know it. It is also a great big poke in the eyes of decent people... “Yeah we took you down on 9/11, and we’re going to do it again, but here we are sitting right next to you at 30,000 ft, suck on that!”
Islam conducts war against innocent civilians across the world primarily via mass transportation be it buses in Israel, trains in Spain, or aircraft in the US.
Islam and anything equals death. Islam and mass transportation is particularly deadly.
Dumb thing to do, but the only reason for the prosecution is that he’s Christian/Jewish and she’s muzzy.
Conflating Orthodox Judaism and the Satanic Cult of Death via a hair covering custom gives you away.
Like the other poster said, we can revisit the situation when Orthodox Jews fly airliners into skycrapers shouting Hashem hu Akbar as part of making the US Dar al Judaism and after 1400 years of slaughter and conquest around the world.
She and clock boy will eventually have their own talk shows.
islam is not a religion.
Lol. That’s a man baby!
I’m not conflating them. I’m saying that both are different but protected actions notwithstanding my personal disapproval. Neither one justifies some rando with a puffed-up ego stepping into their personal space to tear off an article of religious garb.
If it neither breaks your leg or picks your pocket then it’s none of your dang business.
No one has ever really convinced me that Islam is not a religion. I guess you’re welcome to try. You’ve got quite a task in front of you. I’ve read the Koran. There’s a whole lot of mad prophet religion in it.
Most people are going to see the similarity between this and ripping off other pieces of religious clothing from strangers.
I wonder in what statute this exact phrase is used.
This guy could have expressed his opinions verbally instead of by putting his hands on this woman and he wouldn't have been violating this particular law.
It’s fundamental doctrine is join or be killed.
It’s no more a religion than Jim Jones.
I agree, however even verbally on an airplane is considered causing a disturbance and can be punishable.
You can be an asshole but NOT ON A PLANE.
Islam is NOT a religion, it is a political ideology and movement seeking to undermine western nations.
Please get a clue.
Apparently some people here have not travelled by airplane in a while or maybe never. When you are on a plane (or a boat in extraterritorial water) there are completely different laws than on territorial US land. The captain or pilot has the final call on behavior and the crew will back him/her up. You cannot just act however you want on a plane (or boat).
But God forbid educating yourself on legal matters. Instead, hop on a plane and cause a disturbance or start and altercation with someone. See what happens.
That’s why I said “this particular law”. Undoubtedly if he had just caused a verbal disturbance or had been intimidating, there would have been other reasons to eject him from the plane, but maybe he wouldn’t have been arrested or be facing as much legal jeopardy.
Yes, assault is a lot more serious for him legally. But I wanted to also point out that you can’t start or engage in a verbal altercation or verbally or otherwise harass someone on a plane either ... this behaviour may also have legal consequences.
I mentioned it because some people may not know that.
"I'm not conflating them."
Nonsense.
Conflate: 1a) To bring together : Fuse. 1b) Confuse
That's why it was necessary for you to introduce your Orthodox Jewish woman, which has absolutely nothing to do with the Islamic article from an Islamic publication.
It’s not my problem if you can’t see the parallels between two Semitic faiths obeying the same Bronze Age divine commandment for women to cover their hair.
Your problem is you can’t see that islam was started by a murdering pedophile.
