The reason is that Trump has built his business over decades and as such he has built an inner circle that has 100% of his attention. It is a small circle and the rest are outsiders with no influence at all.
The rest is theater.
Ben Carson is nothing more than a red herring when it comes to choosing the vp. Everyone is looking to get someone to leak the list but the way Trump operates is by doing business with people he has known very closely for decades. That is where the real work occurs. Ben Carson is a distraction, red meat for the media and the traitors.
So the question is what individual has Trump known for decades who is vp material and who has worked closely with Trump in the inner circle? That will be Trump's pick.
Have a hunch the VP pick will be Brewer.
News manipulation; they all do it. Some better than others.
I think Donald leaked that silly
“John Miller” story out too, as a benign distraction that would keep him as the center of attention.
Trump and Newt have been friends and mutual sounding boards for one another for a long time. And the Trumps and Gingrichs have belonged to a club in DC for 6+ years. FWIW.

I can appreciate your opinion and attempt at dialogue, but the search and selection is Trump’s to make, and Trump’s alone- and there is a vast roster of candidates to choose from, when you are a Donald Trump.
I sent my suggestion to the Trump Organization- former US Senator Peter G. Fitzgerald, IL., GOP.
Whoever Trump picks, will be golden! Heads will explode, and it will be sheer genius.
I believe someone posted that only 5 VPs went on to the office of POTUS.
Additionally, Trump- may only serve 4 years... as he is going to work for the people of the United States, every waking hour, and will get more done in these 4 years than, many Presidents have gotten done in 8 years, so the plan for the VP selection, may be more than the average pick might be. THIS- will play into who the pick is, mark my humble words.
I bet it’s someone no one is talking about right now. Completely off the radar. ;O)
Christie or Gingrich.

I’ve already predicted Carl Icahn numerous times.
There wasn’t a person on that list who would be taken as a serious candidate. Not a one. Like with Palin, who was supposed to be a total surprise when McCain introduced her, someone will catch wind as due diligence is being done. There will be several that will have that type of check done. So to finger a specific one will be difficult, but we will know from a pot a people those who are under heavy consideration.

Not Howard Stern?
I would be inclined to go with Newt.
He is a true Conservative, knowledgeable and generally well liked and respected. He knows the ins and outs and could be of great assistance to Donald.
I think it may very well be a female, but not Brewer.
Giuliani?
Almost right, Ben Carson is the one throwing the red meat.
i dont want him to get politically correct and feel he has to pick a woman..he needs to pick someone that knows everyone and everything someone strong..no k sick or rubio or cruz....pick a good strong person no sarah palin cant stand her winey voice....she has too much baggage with her kids...
it’s gonna be Ted Nugent
The @washingtonpost report on potential VP candidates is wrong. Marco Rubio and most others mentioned are NOT under consideration. @realDonaldTrump 9:25 PM - 15 May 2016
Jeff Sessions came out early for Trump, maybe!
I like Sessions or Newt!
I know Trump will pick someone who’ll blow the opposition away!
Confident in Trump whoever it may be.
Go Trump Go... All the Way!
FWIW, they’re reporting tha tCruz and Rubio are on teh VP list. Both have indicated they wouldn’t take it.
But wasn’t Trump just recently saying they were ineligible to be president? if you’re ineligible to be president, you’re ineligible to be VP too.
So there are three conclusions we can draw:
1. He’s letting that get out to bring their supporters on board but not really considering them, which would perhaps be good politics, but isn’t exactly on the up and up.
2. He never eally believed that they were ineligible and got his supporters worked up over something he knew to be false
3. He really does think they’re ineligible but is considering them anyway.
None of those is a good reflection on him, is it?
Ia still think Allen West would be a fine choice
