A new voter survey conducted for Fox 12 and Oregon Public Broadcasting shows ...

According to the results from DHM Research, if the primary vote tallies match typical numbers, Clinton could beat Sanders by 15 percent.

Though gender seems to play little role in voter preference, voters are split by age when it comes to candidate support. In voters older than 45, Clinton sees twice the support of Sanders, but in those younger than 45, the Vermont senator has three times the support as the former secretary of state.

Clinton is also polling stronger with those who vote more frequently, as well as those who have already returned their ballots.

The research also looked at a "high turnout" model, where younger voters voted at similar rates to older voters and new and infrequent voters went to the polls at historic levels, and while Sanders closed the gap, Clinton still is polling ahead 45 percent to 38 percent.

Man, that’s depressing. A lot of young people are excited about an old guy who gets his inspiration from Brezhnev’s U.S.S.R. Standing in line for hours for stale bread is, like, so totally cool, duude.

The title could look misleading.

Clinton is not beating Trump by 30 points in the general in OR.

That is Trump beating all the dropouts by 30 points.

Both Oregon and Washington have voted Democrat in every Presidential election since 1988.

We shouldn’t be surprised.

Seems like everybody I know in Oregon is unemployed, broke and on welfare. They’ll all vote for whoever promises them the most free stuff.

I’m a little surprised by the poll. All my Oregon relatives and liberal friends are for Bernie. I see many more Bernie bumper stickers than for Hitlery.

Trump will win with more than 60-70% now that Cruz and Kasich are out of the race.

I am predicting that peak Trump hits when he does not win the Northern Marianas Electoral Votes. That state is important to him because it was the state that put him over the 8 state threshold for the GOP convention.

/sarcasm

I get the impression that Hillary voters are suffering from Stockholm syndrome, rather than they actually want her to win the election. I had one friend comment that he may vote for Hillery over Trump as she is a known quantity.

Shillary was ahead by about 22% on the eve of the Michigan primary where the Shill ended up losing. LoL. Oregon could be another Michigan surprise.

Trump is +31% ahead over the suspended campaigns’ of Kasich and Cruz. Trump 45%, Cruz 14%, Kasich 14% according to the poll.
