Teary-eyed Cruz: This movement doesn’t go away in one election
The Hill ^ | 05/16/2016 | Caitlin Yilek

A teary-eyed Ted Cruz is hinting that he’s leaving the door open for another White House bid in a newly released video titled "No regrets."

The 5-minute video opens with a campaign staffer asking if the Cruz camp made it “through this without regrets.” “This is nearly a regret-free campaign,” he says. “Ted Cruz didn’t lose. Our campaign for president lost.”

Do you think they will let Cruz take the podium and give a speech? I hope not! I wonder who decides who gets to make a speech? Probably GOPe Ryan.

The presumptive nominee is usually the one to run the Convention. I personally doubt Cruz will be allowed to make a speech at the Convention without first publicly endorsing Donald Trump. If he can't bring himself to publicly endorse Trump, then he should not (and likely will not) be allowed to speak at the Convention.

Nutcase Ted Cruz, beating the dead horse across the finish line. Victory!

you are correct

If Cruz does not stand up before the country and endorse the Republican candidate, his political future is over

Cruz will not be any closer to a natural born citizen in 2020. Just go away Cubanadian!

In addition to your excellent points, I really don’t believe Cruz was as good a debater as everyone thought.

After observing him a few times, I could see that he just keeps talking and talking and won’t relent until the other person is so sick of his rude and obnoxious ranting that they just throw in the towel to get away from him.

It came to that with Sean Hannity, Megyn Kelly and another interview whose name escapes me at the moment. They were so fed up they were rolling their eyes, losing their cool, etc. because he’s so arrogant and abrasive.

Maybe next time he should run for President instead of Pope.

What I noticed was that as soon as Deace endorsed Cruz, his religion changed from Calvinism to Trump-is-Satan—a religion in which it is permitted to say anything whatsoever about Donald Trump.

Perhaps he should set his sights on the governor’s mansion first.

Which province?

What a schmuck. He should just go away, preferably back to his home country.

I know what he said, but the fact is that he still voted for it That he did is what matters with me, not why he did.

Yes Cruz is definitely a divider. And I get the feeling the GOPe, too, would love to have him stay home.

A suggestion for you, Mr. Cruz.  During the Cleveland Convention, you and Mittens should pay a visit to all your Bushie pals in Kennebunkport.  And be seaTED in front of the TV set where you can curse as long and hard as you want with the other Bushies as Trump and his family celebrate and accept the mandate of We the People.

Go Trump!

Yes I heard the conversation with Hannity on the radio you are talking about. He’s definitely a second rate debater. A first debater knows how to be respectful to his opponent and his audience.

Maybe he tried to tithe but he accidentally kept putting the offering into the communion plate?

If Rush reveals himself to be a #NeverTrump er then yes he can go to hell too. Rush was pro Rubio and then pro Cruz so Rush is GOPe and not to be trusted or believed, but I don’t think he is a member of the hated #NeverTrump.

I think the other one who got so frustrated with Mr. Obnoxious was Chris Wallace. Megyn Kelly wound up rolling her eyes.

I’m not a fan of either Wallace or Kelly, but it was kinda fun to watch them get so frustrated with Arrogant Cruz.

Theo, it’s called counterattack.

When your candidate endorses the nominee

and joins the rest of us patriotic Americans

in fighting the creeping tide of globalist open-borders,

then, and only then, the counter-attack on the Canadian, will end.

His votes are indefensible.

Now try and defend these:

1) He’s not eligible to run- born on foreign soil to ex-pat parents

2) His globalist donors and campaign funding sources are incongruent with conservatism.

3) His slimy campaign practices whereby he loses elections and steals delegates.

Here he is "putting lipstick on the pig" -- his campaign in the final days after choosing his Vice President.

Cruz started falling apart when he inexplicably plucked Glenn Beck from the funny farm and made that fruitcake part of his campaign. To this day, I still don’t understand why Cruz did that.

I think Cruz could redeem himself by taking point and criticizing President Buckwheat’s bizarre high school bathroom policy. He could start by calling Obuma a pervert.
