Can Hillary Clinton, Goldwater Girl, Win Over Republicans?
NY Times ^ | May 17, 2016 | Emma Roller

Posted on 05/17/2016 6:08:37 AM PDT by C19fan

“How did a nice Republican girl from Park Ridge go wrong?”

That was the question Hillary Clinton posed in March 1992, when she visited her old high school in suburban Park Ridge, Ill., with her husband, who was then running for the Democratic presidential nomination. Mrs. Clinton made her first forays into politics as a teenager in Park Ridge, as an ardent supporter of Senator Barry Goldwater of Arizona, the ultraconservative Republican nominee for president in 1964.

Yeah...indeed. Neither ‘girl’ nor ‘Goldwater’.

Call the ‘spade’ what it is - evil bitch.

There is only ONE person more loathed and detested by Republicans, and he is currently living at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Herself has a lot of unresolved daddy issues. Hugh Ellsworth Rodham, her father, was a very conservative Republican, and Herself was trying very hard to be a daddy-pleaser back in 1964. But Herself, just to chap the old man’s butt, chose to go to a school far from home, Wellesley, a very liberal women’s college, where she apparently underwent an epiphany, and was solidly converted to the most radical versions of socialism.

The old man was WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. And Herself has spent her lifetime proving that over and over. Saul Alinsky had shown Herself just how it was to be done.

One of the longest adolescent rebellion periods in history.

And now all the rest of us are in the way of her tantrum.

“So far, the Clinton campaign has gotten a few Republicans to switch teams and say, “I’m with her”: Mark Salter, who served as a speechwriter and top aide to Senator John McCain; Andrew Weinstein, who worked for Bob Dole’s presidential campaign; and Max Boot, a prominent foreign policy hawk.”

Republicans should take this very seriously.

Clinton has the Never Trump people in her pocket. She will use the “Goldwater Girl”, Hillary is really a conservative theme in the general election. She will have plenty of self described conservatives endorsing her.

The Never Trump people are working for Clinton. The NYT and the MSM will push the message.

Prepare for a dishonest media campaign to fool the low information voters.

Very good news and thanks for the link.

Perhaps the Germans have a word for the syndrome on display here? Latinos prefer Trump to Clinton because they find him inspiring. (Sandra Fluke lookalike) Emma Roller, HRC, Lena Dunham, Rosie O'Donnell and the other hate filled Sapphics can't stand Trump, and want to wallow in their own misery and failure.

We should leave a bottle of Percocet, a revolver with one bullet in the cylinder, and a straight razor on each and every one of their nightstands. The hoped-for result being a Trump- like 'too much winning!'
