Mine either. If I’m already waiting in a long line and the idiots send in some obnoxious entertainment for me it’s REALLY gonna peeve me off.

If they came up to me while I was waiting in line it’d be.......get me a vodka, straight, or leave me the hell alone.

I hate clowns. Way to freak me out, San Diego. And putting ponies in an airport is about the same as sending them back into the coal mines. Not to mention the crying kids on the plane who’ll have clown nightmares.
How about digging into those deep pockets and coming up with a dozen or so additional scanners instead? That’s probably a better investment than payroll and insurance for clowns and handlers.

Yeah, the clowns are already at the checkpoints. In fact, they run them. Because it is mainly theater, giving the illusion of safety.

This is a joke, right?
I flew to Paris a week ago. Was through their customs in about a half an hour. Flew home yesterday and it was 2 1/2 hours to get through customs. About 4 for foreigners. Rediculius.

We are governed by mentally deficient people. They seem to delight in pissing us off.
I see it as a test. The government wants to see how far they can push the American traveler and find out how much he will put up with. Then it will propose a solution that will seem fine in light of what's happened, even though had this solution been proposed a few weeks ago it would have been rejected. "Just stop the lines! I don't care!"
If fliers don't vote with their wallets, expect the next step to be even worse. Perhaps the highways.

If I was in that line..I’d fail to see anything humorous about it. And how are these entertainment acts getting through security? What a freak show..

In Houston airports you might encounter dogs, but don't worry, they are therapy dogs. One of my dogs and I belong to a group called Faithful Paws. We visit convalescent homes, hospitals, schools during finals week, to relieve stress and it works! We encounter a few people who don't like dogs and we move on to those other people who want a doggie visit.
I don't like clowns so I hope I don't run into one.

“Air travel is way down from peak load years when the TSA had no problem keeping pace.”
I was thinking about that. It’s not like people just show up at an airport*, the flights have to be scheduled long in advance and are thus a known issue.
*Although they might now that there’s a show.

If youu can't fix the problem send in the clowns to distract the masses. It was a bad idea to put the federal government in charge of airport security in the first place.
If you put the US government in charge of the oceans, in 5 years the water would be gone and the oceans would be vast deserts.

I hear the DNC is looking for clowns to calm down their convention goers this fall. I think Twisty would fit right in. He may even wind up with the nomination!

LOL! I hate clowns too. When I was about 6 a clown tricked me. We were at the circus and a clown came up and offered me a small bouquet of paper flowers. I took them in my hand but the stems were straws and they came loose from the bright colored flowers. I was left holding a bunch of straws and the clown walked off with the pretty flowers in his hand.
Then he laughed at me! A...hole!
