Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) says he does’t anticipate “going back to the draft,” but nevertheless, he thinks “it would be appropriate” for young women to register with the Selective Service.

This is wrong, wrong, wrong. I know some Freepers and many others think we should give women a taste of that medicine just to show them, but I think it is a bad, bad, idea.
Women should not be in combat, period. To put them in that position to make a point is crazy, shortsighted, destructive, and will cause lost engagements, lost battles, lost wars, and most of all, lost American lives.
We should not even, in a spasm or moment of WEAKNESS, even consider this. It is criminal negligence as citizens if we do.
This is nothing against women, and nothing against draftees. This is all about putting the best equipped people in the right position to successfully complete a mission every time, and not compromising that because we want to make the military a jobs opportunity program for women.
After Iran EMP's the cr*p out of us I doubt anyone would be able to commute to the rally point, anyway.

Well, “backbone” implies that he stood for anything having to do with conservatism in the first place.
Non-issue. America will not be defeated through conventional warfare - it will be defeated through illegal immigration, government corruption, and Muslim infiltration. You can see it wherever you go.
Draft women. . .sure, if we are to embrace 100% equity, no discrimination between the sexes, and women are now allowed in ALL combat arms, then they should be drafted.
IF the draft is ever activated, you can count in seconds the amount of time before a guy that is registered files a 14th Amendment challenge to the law. . .demanding women be drafted too, after all, we are all equal and do not discriminate.
Since Obama has forced the military to accept women into ALL combat arms positions then the draft is one of them.
Women need to get off their asses and stop voting liberal. They won’t until their actions cause them some pain too.
So, bring back the draft and make sure Mary is on the front lines!
Estimates are that if 10% of the males in the Selective Service database could even be FOUND in an emergency, it would be something of a miracle.
