I can’t say what I think.
I’ve personally left the roman catholic church over this guy. The other side of my family are eastern orthodox Christians, so I’m moving over their way.
This Pope is a lunatic. I don’t know what else to say.

Remember the Protestants think the RCC is a medieval entity. The Early Church was not, in their opinion The Roman church but the Early Church.
In Protestant theology there was no RCC church until about 700-800 AD. The Eastern Orthodox church would take a similar position and say it is the true first church.
In either case it was not the RCC that put the Bible together
But it is also true that the RCC did resist the promulgation of the Bible in modern languages - see Wycliff and persecuted Christians for reading the Bible themselves
