For me I have had 4 US congressman tell me this. Bob Barr on 5 different occasions within an 18 year span... But Tom Delay went public soon after Clinton was impeached in the house. It was a big deal, and je publicly said Senators need to read about Jane Doe #5 before voting. I remember watching this on CNN. CNN explained everything. Back then CNN had 2 channels. One showed random shows and the other replayed the headlines every 30 minutes. CNN reaped over and over for one day explaining that Bill Clinton was impeached because of Jane Foe #5. Explainging the Republicans did not have enough votes in the house to impeach in the house. Explaining that Tom DeLay took 50 moderate Republicans that didn’t want to vote to impeach into the room that had the non-public part of the Starr report. CNN explained that afterwards everyone changed their vote to impeach except one and he was impeached two days later... I remember the room I was in and where I was in the room watching this on CNN. I watched the repeat of the news segment every 30 minutes... If Tom Delay did not go public then CNN would never have covered it...

Appreciated all your comments. I knew he was impeached but not honorable enough to resign. Didn’t know the details. My only fear is that DJTs getting all this truth out will result in her not being the candidate n a more electable person put in. Unless GOP goes third party Trump will win
