If shooting down a civilian airliner is a contingency? => it is and just a matter of time.
Then it follows:
1.). It would be downed over water if at all possible, to avoid further destruction and conceal the facts.
2.). It would be said that there was no contact with the plane.
3.). Only another military or government would have the means (radar/satellite) to discern what actually happen.
4.). It’s NOT in the interest of any government to point out what happened, the reality of what happened, if what happen was that a government was force to shoot down an airliner. Nobody wants to throw stones in that glass house. There but by the grace of God go I.
Ultimately. If the pilot/terrorist announced their intent over the radio, forcing a government to shoot down the plane would be a propaganda coup.
In conclusion, this is what we would be told if a government shot down an airliner. It will happen, the only question is when?

Why would NASA satellites see anything? They are optimized for meso and hemispherical sensing. Intelligence satellites, OTOH, are more than capable of sensing a small flare and did.

From what i know, he is accurate in much of his analysis, but his own claims for himself seem dubious, and evidences going off on a rant, while i have not checked out his many claims.
It is inconceivable these pilots did not have a hand held portable radio in the cockpit. When I was flying (a little puddle jumper single engine Piper Cherokee) I had TWO radios PLUS the hand held.
Very apt though. I was a Cruz supporter—first time I actually donated to a campaign. However, there comes a time you need to see the big picture.
Why be like the ex-spouse who hates her ex more than she loves her own children by deliberately harming the children’s relationship with dad via a deliberate “scorched earth” policy? Right, that’s why I provided the rest of the facts regarding that flight which 1 flight attendant was killed and 65 passengers were injured. I don’t think the flight attendants death is somehow less important that anyone else or should go without mention. Her body was never found after being ejected from the aircraft. And the main reason no passengers were killed was because everyone was seat belted into their seats.
I was commenting on the text in the picture that Dudley Moore is holding up.
The poster he is holding up is accurate. Again, the only reason half a dozens passengers did not get ejected along with the flight attendant was because they were all seat belted in. No other reason. Btw, that carrier has lost passengers due to various issues through it’s history but most do survive. Yep, accurate.
But Obama and Hillary say we need to embrace Muslims.
