I know somebody who worked in a store selling firearms in South Jersey. He tried to get a CCW and the police told him no and if he had a problem call a cop!

... because there had been no specific attacks or threats made directly on him.

Maybe I'll go into business providing the people of NJ with threats so they can qualify to carry a weapon.....then they'll probably claim that the threats have to be signed and notarized or they aren't genuine....

Yes, time for Christie to step up and lead in NJ.
**********************************
He never has, so why would he start now? Liberals run NJ and have allowed him to be Gov because he’s complicit.

If you lived in NJ you’d appreciate Christie; he has all the right enemies, and is a million times better than the alternative.

O.K. Just my opinion of Christi from afar since he came on the national news scene a few years ago after Sandy.

He is supported by the taxpayers and homeowners here because he took on the public education cartel; he refuses to raise taxes without cutting them elsewhere, and our government is no longer growing in leaps and bounds as it always did under Dems (that is why we have property taxes among the highest in the nation).

I can accept criticism of Christie, but it means a lot more from someone who lives here. The only people I’ve met here that oppose him are people on the taxpayers’ teat. Just as Trump singlehandedly returned the immigration debate to center stage, Christie exposed the lie of “underpaid teachers” (and changed the political landscape here dramatically by doing so). He refuses to saddle current taxpayers with the pension debts promised by Dem predecessors, as the last hope of ever pulling NJ out of its current death spiral would vanish if the high taxes we bear were to increase even further.

He’s not perfect, but for taxpayers in NJ he does the job.

Imagine if one had to show “necessity” on any of the other Enumerated Rights in the Constitution.

1. Freedom of the Press: Come on, we know that the media is controlled by the “Powers That Be”! Why would you have a need to oppose the prevailing narrative and get people all stirred up?

2. Freedom of Speech: Do you REALLY need to say everything that just pops into your head? Why, you MIGHT hurt someone’s feelings, or even damage someone’s self-esteem. Keep your mean-spirited, politically incorrect speech in the restricted zone, or even better, just STFU!

3. Freedom of Religion: Now, now, just because it isn’t even in the Constitution, we are SUPPOSED to have a “Wall of Separation” between Church and State. Notice, we didn’t say “Between Sacred Circle and State” or “Between Mosque and State”, or even “Between Gaia Temple and State”. So, obviously, this means CHRISTIANS. No Freedom of Religion for YOU!

4. Freedom of Association: Do you really NEED to hang around with THOSE PEOPLE? You know they are all just Right-Wing Religious Bigots, so why would you want to hang out with them at all?

5. Redress of Grievances: You have no need to have the Government redress any of your grievances because you are PRIVILEGED, and have no legitimate grievances to redress!

Welcome to the New World Order.

——Chief Daniel W. Barcus said Russell was unable to demonstrate “justifiable need”-—

There it is, grounds for a law suit. Earlier this week I think I saw a court decision that indicated justifiable need was unconstitutional. the right is to keep and bear arms with no mention of need.

Trump calls for reciprocity between states. That’s a big start.

Still, this soldier is stuck in a bad county within NJ. He should get loud and take it to Governor Chris.

OR has had the law restricting pumping your own gas for a very long time. Don’t know if it was for safety or full employment.

This is just one reason why, whenever I see posts on this forum advocating a Christie role in the Trump administration, I am absolutely incredulous.

No one that is part of the ruling class from that socialist hellhole should have any part in the Trump administration if it is to see any success in the least.

I used to work with a woman who ran our telephony systems, where I used to work, that moved to NJ due to a transfer. She had a CCW in Indy, and was an NRA trained instructor.

The guy showing her houses in NJ, while she was house hunting, was a retired cop, and was aghast at her having a permit. Even he didn’t have one in NJ.

She was not a happy camper.

NJ is a fsck up state.
