So the feds can, if they choose to do so, confiscate the guns of anyone who buys pot in Colorado (where it is still illegal under federal law), and charge them with felony weapons charges. Or in California, they can confiscate your guns and charge you with felony weapons charges if you are caught smoking a cigarette in your back yard.
No matter who you are, no matter what you do, I guarantee a motivated prosecutor can find some law that you have broken.

This probably why the Feds are holding fast with current drug laws and at the same time, to some degree, encouraging States to legalize it. Easy way to “legally” confiscate 2A hardware.
