Good question. Because it works. If you are looking to expand your reach (that is to say...to evangelize) beyond the folks who already agree with you, you have to be willing to talk to folks who wouldn't otherwise hear your message. So you use the leftmedia's own platform to reach them. The downside risk is that the leftmedia will lie and distort like they usually do.
