Because the EPA is Nixon’s worst idea, has become a power-hungry mob of anti-capitalist Gaia worshippers, and cripples the U.S. economy, it should be condemned as a danger to the nation and should be abolished. The states should be in charge of their environmental issues, as the Tenth Amendment intended.

The EPA needs to be pruned back to its original charter—protecting the environment. Anything else it does is not justifiable.

What would be the point of increasing ethanol, when no vehicles can support the 15%?

Ethanol mandates are nothing but a corn subsidy for farmers. 15% ethanol means you burn 15% more fuel to go the same distance, how can that be saving anything?
Time to end all subsidies, and let the market work.

This is good business. The “fat cat” corporate farmers will make even more money through government directives and that will ensure the farmer’s votes as democrats even stronger.

So, is this a situation where wholesalers MUST increase content or just that its OK to do so? If the later I dont see it happening. If no one buys your product then youre out of business. If the former I dont see it continuing. Everyone will be effected even the regulators that imposed the content hike.

There is probably an expensive additive that will prevent damage. 535 congress people have probably already bought into the stocks of the company or companies that make the additive based on this insider information that they are allowed to trade on. Getting into government is all about getting rich without any talent or looks or gumption.

The current level of booze in the gas has ruined the carburetors on 2 string trimmers, 1 chain saw, 1 rototiller, 1 brush cutter and a portable pump. Repairs cost me nearly $1,000 a year to get these outfits running in the spring, even though I am religious about draining them each fall or when stored. Vehicles are diesel but the buggers are trying to screw that up too.
