“Making enough of a racket to violate the noise code”.
Does that mean I can drive down Main St. with open headers on my car? I am sure that I would be arrested post haste if I did.

What is it with you people who criticize someone for posting an article previously posted but not discovered in a search? The search engine here leaves a lot to be desired.

Next time I’m in New York City I’ll make sure I piss in front of Gracie Mansion.

I’ve only been to NY once. And it was far more than enough. And that was when Giuliani was Mayor. How do people live like that? Los Angeles is the Garden of Eden compared to New York. Even if you are rich you are basically a prisoner in a condo. I would never give up the freedom to let my wife walk around at night without fear for the dubious advantages of life in NYC.

You, my FRiend, would be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. But these little miscreants would only get a ticket, not a criminal charge.

You’ve met the FR’s self-appointed hall monitors then.

The search engine here leaves a lot to be desired. I managed to find it in about three seconds.
Perhaps the problem lies with operator error or ignorance.

In European Medieval times streets were sewers. Look at the disease levels of those days. (Yes, I know there were other factors.)
To: Seruzawa
Without hallway monitors here, there would be anarchy. Anarchy!

The search engine is fine. My only suggestion for improving it would be to have ‘titles’ be the default parameter. Other than that, a six-year-old could use it. Some just can’t be bothered.

I wouldn’t walk around LA alone at night, much less let my wife do it. That’s crazy.

I don’t live in LA any more. It was just a comparison. I’m armed and happy in Utah now.
